Restart the Wallet ...

If that does not help, then the best way is to remove all the contents of the Chain (NOT the wallet.dat File) and start it syncing again.

There are other ways of Syncing (BootStrap and even Copying the Chain Acroos to your Folder) but they are a little more complicated to do.

rieMiner-Qt upgrades to version 2 for Windows and Linux

Critical update of 04/23/2021.

Due to commit # 26 of Apr 10-2021 on rieMiner, for technical reasons the use of AVX2 was no longer possible on rieMiner-Qt v1.
This update allows:
Detection of possible AVX2 CPU usage.
Download and use the correct version of rieMiner (with or without AVX2 support)
If the CPU is AVX2 compatible, display of the "EnableAVX2" check box in Advanced.
If "EnableAVX2 'is not available in Advanced, your CPU is not compatible.

Uninstall the old one to install the new one.
Your settings are preserved despite an uninstallation.

Only for Windows X64.

Riecoin Core 0.21 released, new records, and more!

Riecoin Core 0.21 is out. This version is not as critical as 0.20 that brought the Hard Fork, but it incorporates important upgrades from Bitcoin, in particular the highly anticipated Taproot/Schnorr Signatures Soft Fork. Riecoin developer

I ported the Riecoin code to Bitcoin Core 0.21. It is basically ready for a Stable Release, i just need some confirmations that it works well from others.

Sounds awesome Xal0lex,

I however don't use Windozer to try it out for you!

But I found playing with 2 different Miners makes no extra advantage in mining using CPU's.

The CPU logic seems not to care and is more negative than positive.

Just having the Distributed Computing using different Miner variables is the same as "2 Miners" at the same time!

Riecoin Second Hard Fork Successful!

The Riecoin network successfully hard forked this Monday 29 at Block 1482768 as expected and without any incident. Thanks to everyone who made this fork possible!

Starting from now, every miner will have the possibility to beat prime k-tuplets records while mining. If you are interested, follow this guide in order to configure rieMiner to find longer constellations.

In addition to be a network ready for future improvements, Riecoin also proved once again that it provides efficient software and concrete results for scientific research as the 8-tuplet world record was recently beaten again using rieMiner.
A reward of 2000 RIC was claimed for this record, be sure to check the interesting Riecoin bounties that are currently proposed to earn yourself some sound money! To celebrate the Fork, we are also extending our 77,777.77 RIC Anniversary Bounty (worth more than $1000 at current prices) for interesting records by three months!
If you want to see something accomplished and are paying in RIC, do not hesitate to propose your own bounty as well!

If you already upgraded to 0.20 RC, the only thing you have to do is to restart your node with the stable 0.20 version, and you will be ready for the fork. No other action has to be done.

One more news, Riecoin now has an official forum! News will starting from now always be posted there, and development discussions will mainly take place here too, rather then being spread throughout Discord, GitHub or other places. The forum will help to organize discussions and make them more open and broad. We recommend everyone interested in Riecoin to join the forum!
