It looks like network hash has topped 400K now...

The hashrate is nice on the one hand, but on the other when you take a look in pool statistic only 4-7 people have ~85-90% auf the hashrate most time. So most coins mined go to only a few people. The future will show if this is good or bad for the coin...

I know it is meant to build on Ubuntu, but I need to build it natively for aarch64, and unlike Ubuntu, Fedora 27 supports ᴀʀᴍ.

Please make it build time compatible with Fedora ! (there’s really lot of errors from build scripts and compiler errors).
I’m also getting the same when trying to build on my computer instead of aarch64 device, so it’s non architecture Fedora errors and not arm specific errors. (such errors should apply to Fedora in general)

Personally i have never been able to easily build on CentOS/RHEL/Fedora , due to how old their libraries are, specially glibc and boost.
But you are welcome to submit a github issue for it and attach a link to the compile output  at https://github.com/ROIcoin/ROIcoin/issues

Agreed. I suggest 1 month - anything longer than that may keep the potential bounty 'hunters' away!

Maybe even same programs as for ROI - 1 month term = X coins bounty, 2 month in a row = (X coins bounty*2)+30%, 3 month in a row = (X coins bounty*3)+50%, etc. If its possible to realise. Wink

Interesting... and i like that you've already put the signatures Smiley But we need the devs to decide all these things - I think they're having dinner and making merry! Cheesy

Lol...  Aye...  It would be nice.  Still crunching away on numerous tasks.  I am to the point where I am not sure it is possible to cross compile (Ubuntu 16.04) wallet for OSX.  The latest references say it should work just fine... Cheesy

Anyone have any experience with cross compiling for OSX?  I never messed with Apple OSs...  This is one item on our bounty list...  hint hint (to anyone reading).

Take care.

fuzzbawl has experience with it, you can try and figure it out by looking at the Travis CI jobs..

The airdrop has just been processed at CoinsMarkets.

Let's hope that helps the coin a bit!
Great news!

I submitted the coin to OpenLedger and we shall see how that turns out.

I would like to submit the coin to Binance but they require a white paper so we need to put together that item as soon as possible.

I would also like to submit the coin to HitBTC but they require an official Reddit channel so it looks like that will have to be set up soon.

WOW and the coin only went live on November 05, 2017, 05:41:01 PM

Love it.

I hope you also love the CSS changes over at the website. Doing the aesthetics on the site is on my chore list but I haven't gotten it done yet. I did do a quick clean up over there based on your earlier feedback. Hopefully it will give some improvement until I can go through the entire site and get the appearance all dialed in.

One more important thing you need to know.

Your term deposit that finished and the coins moved to available will not gain POS reward anymore. You must move them to "reset" them.

Directions:

  • At top of wallet click on "Settings"
  • Menu drops down click on "Options"
  • New Box pops up click on "Wallet" tab
  • Find check box "Enable Coin Control Features"
  • Check that box and then click OK button
  • Top of wallet click "Receive"
  • Create new receive address and label as you please
  • Copy that new receive address
  • Top of wallet click send tab
  • Paste the receive address from previous step in Pay To: box
  • Top left section, "Coin Control Features" click the "Inputs..." button
  • New box pops up and now look for and find the line item that matches your matured term deposit amount of coins
  • Check the box for that line item
  • Click OK button and pop up box goes away
  • Now bottom left click "Send" button and send coins to yourself
  • Coins will now begin to gain standard POS interest again and immediately
  • Top of wallet click on "Overview"
  • In the lower section "ROIcoin Term Deposits" you will see that the line item for that matured term deposit is gone away

Thanks for the info, I just have a matured term deposit.

The term of the deposit is ended coins are not refundable.  How to return coins from the deposit?

Is the term deposit coins still showing in the table at the bottom of the wallet?

If so what does it say is the "Maturation Block?"

In that table in the "Status" box can you provide what the error says?

This part: Matured (Warning:t...) I need to read the rest of that...
The second picture
Matured (Warning: this amount is no longer earning interest of any kind)

This was beta-tested prior to launch and we couldn't find any issues. Because this is such a critical thing I went back over everything just to be sure.

When coins are term deposited they are waiting for the block chain to reach the maturation block. Once the blockchain reaches the maturation block the term deposit is completed. The coins plus the value gained will all be automatically returned to your "Available" line under "Balances" in the upper left hand corner. You won't need to take any steps to get your term deposits unlocked and added back to you available balance.

Down low in the wallet in the "ROIcoin Term Deposits" section and as you noted you'll see: Matured (Warning: this amount is no longer earning interest of any kind). This means the term deposit is completed and it is noting to you that that term deposit is no longer earning profit and this is because it has completed. The line item for the term deposit in the table will remain there as a record of the term deposit.

This is easy to test. You can make a term deposit of 10 coins for 5 blocks. You'll then see that your Available balance went down by 10 coins. Once the blockchain moves 5 blocks you'll see the term deposit is matured and no longer earning interest and then you're available balance will increase back the 10 coins plus the interest you made.

Please let me know if this doesn't make sense or if you have any questions...

Thank you for a clarification. I forgot about the maturation of the deposit, I will wait for the ripening of the coins, if any problems arise, I'll let you know.
