So i an beginning to wonder if Artos is gong to let his coin die.  Even a post would assist in drumming up support.

On Silverwolf's SBC Pool #1:

The client is throwing an error message when users are trying to withdraw.

What does this error message mean :

Code:
PHP Error :
XML-RPC: xmlrpcmsg::parseResponseHeaders: HTTP error, got response: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught BitcoinClientException: [0]: Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error)

Client Error :
SendMoney() : Error: Transaction creation failed keypool return 5924
ThreadRPCServer method=sendtoaddress

I've restarted the client but it made no difference.

FYI in the event other pool operators or users run into this issue :

I tracked this down to a single transaction where a user was trying to withdraw more than 20k coins in a single transaction and the client apparently has a problem with that.  It was throwing the above error message whenever that transaction came around again.

I fixed it by coding a limit of 10k for a single withdrawal transaction.  Somewhat annoying to the users, but effective.

Resetting SBC Pool #1 to Normal Status.

Also, applied this work-around to pool #2 to prevent any issues over there.

Silverwolf;

I wanted to ask you a question.  How does a block get found by "unknown" in a pool?  See SBC block# 52209 for example.  There was a pool I tried briefly before yours and there were a lot of blocks found by "unknown" and the payouts weren't right.  Yours seemed right, but wouldn't Mr. Unknown complain about not getting paid, since he doesn't show in the PPLNS stats?

It depends on how you have the system configured.  The block finder is shown by grabbing a share from the shares table.  If you have your hasrate history set too low the table will be cleared out too fast and you will get a lot of unknowns.  A few of them is normal, lots is not normal.

But the blockfinder is just a neat bit of info, it isn't used in payout calculations at all.

You are all proving a true fact though.  He has been on the forum multiple times, even after people have been stating here that we want to hear from him, yet he hasn't posted in the thread for his coin.  Not sure why after such a great launch he is just letting the thing nosedive, but I can say I was a big supporter of his coin, but have since moved on, as I am sure alot of others have to.   I may return if he shows he is doing something, but I have a feeling this coin is going to be nosediving off the boards very soon.

I don't know what's going on with the Developer, but I have never seen the hash on my two SBC pools this low.

It's not encouraging.

http://silverwolf.ath.cx/sbc   Pool Hashrate: 0.77 MH/s
http://swmining.mine.nu/sbc Pool Hashrate: 3.34 MH/s

 Shocked

Diff is low so ppl mining solo

Well, the total network hash was down to 5 MH/s or so as well just a minute ago.

Its 44 now

Why do devs abandon their coin, why make it in a first place? This is the same thing that happened to HYC, it is really a shame because SBC promised a lot.. Maybe when developer saw that there is actualy big work to promote a coin he decides to flip...

Artos needs to post or the coin WILL die.  The store has no updates... The price is dropping like a rock.

It's a shame.  The launch on this was actually pretty good.  Interest was high, price was good.  I already cashed out half of my mined coins yesterday though.  I'll sit on the rest in case of a miracle but I consider this one done already. The complete lack of dev support has basically killed it.

Not sure what is going on with this coin - I have solo mined 78 blocks - and all but 3 have vanished.

This has happened on 3 separate occasions.

Is someone screwing around with the block chain?

I have never had this happen with any other coin.
