Dev, I am extremely impressed with how proactive you are and have planned ahead with this coin. Glad I got on board from the first 15 mins!

basically placebo is just saying its a way of getting the coin out to the mass majority people who dont know anything about mining etc this way the coin gets more exposure

What did DOGE what we didn't do? Do we need to copy DOGE steps, of course not, but how do you create hypes? Hypes are being created by youtube/facebook/twitter... there was a stupid song, and a stupid dance, gangbastyle or something like that, really f.... stupid, but everybody was dancing on it. Infact i already have a nice story for a youtube movie:
Start with 2 girls in the dessert, no cars, no nothing, let them suffer (not in real of course) and then suddenly a cowboy or so arrived and pick then up, and this cowboy his the 2 girls one golden coin with the KDC marks on it, and the two cars went to a place to sell that golden coin and then you see those girls driving away in a Porsche or so. And in this clip you make sure that KDC is clearly in picture with the exchange that it is or will be trading on.
Just ideas guys, maybe i'm crazy, but i want to see this one to become big. I also need a Porsche

KDC can't really operate as an IPO, can it? I mean, anyone can own KDC by mining it. In an IPO normally the company sells shares. I see nothing wrong with the devs selling their own coins that they manage to mine or otherwise earn through their services, provided they're set reasonable fixed price. This may raise the price of trades on exchanges, but I honestly don't know.
You don't get it....the point is that the outside world will know that from a certain date this coin can be bought on a exchange. It is correct, the dev doesn't own the stock, we are all owners of the coin. It is the idea around people telling look this is the date that you can buy coins. Infact some coins did it with the launch, they had a timer saying 1hour till launch.... now coins are being released on exchange withoud guides, yes, a twit saying this coin is now available, no message like in 5 hours coin X will be available for trading...
If the developers can release an exchange service, then yes, it's possible. I would be a good idea. I don't think you can plan a launch on another exchange though. They list coins when they feel like it.
We just need to make a deal with cryptsy. They have an interest in good promotion, they like many trades.

The word ANY is a very bad word here. We don't want ANY exchange. WE want THE BEST exchange. Lets say cryptsy is a option... don't know when it will be added but there is a big possibility that cryptsy will add KDC. And after cryptsy has added KDC i don't care if other exchanges will follow.
Maybe looking at china is also a option.
Not landing a smaller exchange might not even get you to cryptsy, so you might rethink your goals mate. People need somewhere so that we can pay our bills, if you dont want miners leaving and this coin not going anywhere.
Then mine something else. There are plenty of coins that are on exchanges right now that are profitable. Use coinwarz. Trying to rush to get a coin to an exchange to dump it for BTC is what kills most altcoins. Nobody who has an invested interest in KDC wants it to die the moment it hits some small exchange.
I understand the pressing need to pay bills...This is a reality that we can't escape from. May I also suggest multipool or middlecoin for short term generation of income?
Those of us that have been trying to promote KDC from the ground up with our own time and money would like to see KDC becoming successful - And that does not involve dumping our shares at any exchanges at a moment's notice (I for once could be mining some other coins and make a quick buck - but this is not my goal here at KDC).
What you chose to do with your hard earned KDCs is up to you of course...But there is certainly room for KDC to grow and become very successful...
Just my 2 cents...
If you expect to just sit back and sit on your coins and profit from KDC, then you're mistaken. The people who are investing in this coin are those who are active members of the community, contributing to promotions, and are making this coin have value. If you dump your coins, all you'll do is scare away the miners looking for a quick buck. There are plenty enough coins for that already. Patience will be rewarded.

KDCs are becoming harder to get by the day...
Correct, but i want to see a bigger hashrate...I believe that some people are already getting nervous, when is this one getting on a exchange...i'm losing electricity and i need to pay my bill... i have rent a rig and i need to pay it, ....
Agreed i have rented 2 rigs already for this coin and have mined and mined but there is a limit to how much i can spend before i see a return of some sort to pay the bills ... I like this coin a lot but i like food a lot more
