You can give each pool an equal number of votes and compare the amount of payments.

Now the main role is played not even by the pool % fee, but by the total number of votes. For example, if you give 500 votes to a pool in which there are already 60,000 and in which there are already 30,000, then your payment will differ by a factor of ~2 for the same % fee.

Thanks, were do I find the debug.log?

The debug.log file is located in the same folder as your wallet. Also you can delete the database folder to sync back.

Recently there has been few sellers and more buyers. Other sellers are offering higher price than what buyers will take. The biggest I was able to escrow before the mainnet launch was 2 btc worth of sems in one trade.
