The OTC thread has been blocked, where is it possible to buy Semux? Are there reliable negotiations in Discord? What's the average price these days?
Yes, it was very reliable to trade in Semux discord under #trading channel. Use escrow from trusted like mdodong and you will be safe.

Will validators charge fees for validating?

If you mean to say, share rewards, then the answer is it depends if it is a pool validator. Other private validators dont share rewards.

The voters need only to pay the network fee(0.005 sems) for the voting transaction.

To join a pool. Go to the Delegates tab on semux wallet. Click on the validator you want to vote, example(POOL_BORDERLINE), put the amount of sem to vote on the Vote box then click vote.

It will lock your votes to the validator, you can unvote anytime.

There's a new OTC thread been opened. Use escrow if trading through it.

So the developers are effectively holding 60% (15.000.000 out of 25.000.000 @ start) of all coins at the moment, furthermore staying ahead (>50%) until early 2021 (ca. 3 years from launch). Any opinions on that?

Please see the ann page for the distribution plan of the remaining coins. only 5.000.000 remains as founders fund. the rest will be distributed or used in promotion of semux.

Something that just occurred to me is I wonder if pools with multiple validators could attack each other by pulling votes. Imagine if a competing pool, run by a SEM whale, saw you starting pool3, they could then take some of their reserve SEM and use it to fill up a large portion of your pool3 vote capacity.  Then at the most opportune time for them (maybe when they have enough votes to make another validator) they pull their votes from pool3 making it lose its validator status and lowering your payout across all 3 pools (if your treating them as one big pool). Probably not a realistic scenario lol.. just trying to imagine crazy things that might happen.

Why not realistic? I really liked your script and I think some people took it to note) Cheesy

We are almost at 100 validators.. it's going to be fun watching the battle for the 100th spot  Smiley .. especially with all the new pools..

I see already 108 delegates have burned 1000 SEM to try to become a validator. That's more registered delegates than I expected to see so early on mainnet. A good sign.

Question for developers.  Is there a way to avoid putting your delegate private key on a VPS?  Delegate will one day be worth $100K USD+ and it seems quite scary to actually upload the private key onto a VPS.  It would be helpful if there was a way to lease your delegate pubkey to another keypair residing on the VPS.  This way if VPS is hacked or VPS operator steals your private key the delegate owner can just unlease the delegate or move it to another pubkey.

Thank you. This is a good idea and I copied your question to https://github.com/semuxproject/semux/issues/598 for further discussion.
