Downloaded the latest wallet and imported the original wallet. Everything worked well. But did not see today's airdrop (10/17).
You will see it, just wait.

Hi

I moved from wallet version beta .003 to beta .004. I Imported the information from my last wallet, used password of old version to unlock the same, but when I try to unlock the same again, it gives error of "Incorrect Password".

Please help.

Thanks Smiley

Close everything. Restart. Open wallet and make sure password is correct

Is there an online block explorer or something?

This project is very technical and I'm very optimistic about it. It has been airdropped. Will always be concerned

Can someone help me?
semux.bat can not be opened
My operating system is WIN 10
The file is placed in C:

Download newest release here:
https://github.com/semuxproject/semux/releases

semux-1.0.0-beta.4.zip

Maybe install Java first.
Unzip the complete folder. If it not works, try to open it with command line and copy + paste error message. This is better to give help. Maybe dev knows the error and can say something about that, or maybe you use an old or wrong version and it runs with a new download from github.

I have successfully created the wallet, thank you!!

Hmm. Thanks guys, but how about compared to NEO blockchain, for example? It uses dBFT, so isn't that the same as SEM? Not seeing the difference here, but would appreciate your input on this matter. Thanks.

Haven't really checked NEO but if it's using dBFT then the concensus is similar. What set's Semux apart is the choice of language(Java) and the inclusion of 64-bit VM. It will be easier to create dApps since language is familiar with the added portability which is innate with Java.

Who are other competitors in this blockchain space? Other java based blockchains?

No other Java based blockchain. Semux is the first of its kind.

And that's why this is so cool to support. Something different instead of the same ole thing over and over that's been seen before.

Dude... the entire consensus model is completely different than bitcoin or almost any other altcoin.  It uses BFT, which means transactions are confirmed permanently after 1 confirmation.  It's has completely different security model and is superior.   A big step forward!

Also, like ethereum will have smart contract system, but better than Ethereum will use a 64bit Java-based VM.  That means no learning new languages to use this thing.  I don't think you quite understand what a big advance semux is.

Man, Java is really nice, but it's not the part that matters--- it's the BFT consensus algorithm!!!
