OK my new download of the windows wallet has synced.
which is all well and good but my coins are in my mac wallet - i won't be able to move them out as the mac wallet isn't syncing.
i'll just have to wait on the new mac wallet before I can actually join this party!

Not sure but it looks like there are several forks. I have tried to re-sync several times and saved the blockchains for each attempt
they all look to dead end on different forks. Each fork has a different balance, WTF Huh

What happened with some detail? Why are seed nodes misbehaving?
