Anarchy is not chaos.

Thanks by tips Biomech. My wallet again mined after performing a new backup. I'll try to use your tip on the console.

Thanks

No worries. It's just another way to do it, if you are running the daemon rather than QT, or if you don't want to use the button for whatever reason. I like to know how things work, and I pass it on as I can Cheesy

A doubt:
My wallet has staking expected time to earn reward 1 hours and not out of it. Gain rewards not more than 20 days. Someone could tell me what the problem is? Embarrassed Embarrassed

It was just a reference value.

How to know the correct value? The coin does not earn interest??

I think it might be impossible to know the exact value, because network speed changes.
earn interest? yes, SHA coin is a pos coin, so you can get coins by opening the wallet.

That's what I'm saying. I can spend hours with an open wallet and the interest is not being paid. If it is a coin "Pos", when the interest is paid? Embarrassed
As I recall, it's maturity time is 48 hours. No idea what or if there's a max, but the interest will be paid accordingly. Larger amounts stake faster than small, but eventually the books clear eithere way.

My coins are already rotting so "mature" Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. Not yet understand the reason for the non-appearance of interest, since it is a coin "Pos" ... Let's wait and see what happens.

Also, be sure your wallet is unlocked (for staking only).

If you encrypted your wallet you need to unlock it for staking.

Go to Settings>Unlock Wallet>Enter pass-phrase (keep the option "for staking only" checked).
From this moment your wallet is able to create coins. You don't need to worry, your wallet is still protected, but unlocked for staking only.

You can check estimated time to earn a reward in the bottom-right corner of the wallet (green arrow icon, the arrow is grey if you have locked wallet).

You can also unlock for staking from the command line or the console, if you are uncomfortable with the buttons or are using the daemon.
walletpassphrase  ex: walletpassphrase somedamnthingrandomanddifficult   999999999   true

you want the time to be high, as it's only unlocked for minting and needs to able to do so unattended, unless you wanna sit and watch for hours at a time Cheesy

Thanks NetValuator,

My wallet returned to mined. I made a backup again and is now generating interest normally. Must have been some problem with the last backup that I performed.

Thank you

I can confirm that the staking does indeed work.  I got ~4SHA from my first 1600 staking, and another 40SHA from another 17k staking.

mines says 16 hours lets see what happens because sometimes it will go to an hour wait
and shoot back up to a day to stake lol. Cool I have about 13,000 SHA.

Hello Frank, my last date was mined in 5/7/214. Thereafter no more mined. What can this be?

you need more coins. it works like hashing power. or you will need more time to get mined coins.

I have no idea how many coins you have, but if it's being slow, make a new receiving address and send the entire balance to yourself. This will put everything in one block, which will mature in 48 hours and be eligible to stake. It varies from coin to coin, but this one stakes best on big balances. So, when you do stake, do it again right away so you lose little in coin age. After you get a biggish amount, then use coin control and send to self to get them into smaller but quick staking blocks.

Your only other choice is to wait. Even small amounts will eventually stake.

I got a question for ya Frank.  Are you guys still working on this coin?

And also, I don't know how to program, but is there anything I can help with to earn some SHA?  So far I've bought about 60k off Allcoin, but that's all I have.

Yes.

after we release the part3-2, and part4 of the plan.
you will know what we are working on these days.
actually, you can see the part3-1, the plan is huge, we cannot do it ourselves,
we need all community, all people in the world.
because we are going to solve the problem of the whole world,
someone maybe think it is impossible, there will be no more part3-2.
but we will show you we are so close.

and,
if you want earn some SHA, but you don't know how to program or design image,
maybe you can tell us your idea, then you can earn some SHA.
or maybe you are an interpreter, you can help us.
or you can tell us what and where we need to offer bounty? then you can earn some.

That is odd. Maybe delete everything but wallet.dat and resync? I don't have a lot of coin, but it's been staking.
