Trading should have been stoped on Cryptsy then this had not been a problem. If Cryptsy had done that for several weeks ago then it had not mattered that they are very slow to fix wallets. It also would have no effect on prices or trading on other exchanges. Now they have traded with coins that are on another fork and some of them are not valid. Other coins also has a lot of problems because of the situation at Cryptsy. Im afraid that this can go on for 3-4 weeks or more.  Angry

Had no idea this thing was continuing beyond bittrex!

Fortunately, Bittrex was communicative and worked with us to resolve the issue.

Again, thank you to the Sterlingcoin community members that matched the developers to reconcile Bittrex's Sterlingcoin accounts.

Yes, I agree Rols. I had hoped, and still do, that cryptsy would resolve the wallet issue giving us more reason to celebrate the new year.

I know Cryptsy has larger problems than an SLG wallet but this has been going on for an long time. Everything is halted because of Cryptsy and promoting a coin with 3 exchanges on the right chain and one on the wrong is not an easy thing. People are losing faith in Cryptsy and just want to move their coins out from there. They have many more wallets to fix but I hope its soon SLG turn. SLG is low valued and could have an bright future.

Your right. Far, far to long. SMH Given cryptsy's problems, I wonder if we wouldn't be better off being delisted.  Roll Eyes  Though, that does nothing to help people that should have (real) Sterlingcoin there. SMH

Perhaps we could ring in the new year with polo since cryptsy does not want to party and the "wallet experts" we keep hearing so much about clearly have an early curfew? Wink https://www.poloniex.com/coinRequest

It's a little too quiet here. Cryptsy still has problems and it affects the others exchanges with low trading as a result. There must be some more activities to boost the SLG. I hope next year will be better.

We have been in discussions with both the Staisybit developers and Staisybit marketing. We may have a promotion where, for example, Staisybit users would receive 10 SLG for depositing 1k SLG into Staisybit.

I am curious how the Sterlingcoin community feels about this and cloud staking in general. On one side of the coin, it is centralizing something that we are trying to decentralize. On the other side of the coin, I do see the benefit to people (general public / average Joe) that do not have a wallet staking continually or even frequently.

Dear Sterlingcoin community,

SLG is now available at https://staisybit.com, a new, user friendly, transparent, Web Staking Wallet.

Here's how it looks like:

Any information about our service can be found on our Bitcointalk thread, as well as on our web site (a more succinct description).

Follow us on Twitter @staisybit. Support channel only via email (for the moment) at [email protected]

If you have any question, please post on Staisybit thread, not here. We can't follow the threads of all currencies we serve Smiley Thank you!

Cheers

P.S. we usually ask for a small donation to developers when adding a new coin, justified by the fact that our servers (3 at the moment) will act as 24/7/365 nodes , helping developers in secure their network (by staking) and ensuring reliable connections on the network. We haven't received a reply from SLG developers, hence donations by the community are well appreciated too: 33YMZdX4MrKzJeEKejZ7w1QDGNT8xXrMvx . Thank you.

Matt will have to field questions in regards to the multipool. I do know he has been working on it. I will ask him to update here.

CaliforniaJim, it does seem like you are on the correct chain. Your block height is correct. To confirm with certainty, please give me an address here or via PM and I will send a small amount.

Matt, can you give us an update on the multipool?

Hi all,

I've requested Staisybit team to add SLG to their online stacking system. I will keep you guys posted.

Nuno

According to this post they had already added Sterlingcoin.  Huh

I logged in to Staisybit and sure enough, no Sterlingcoin.  Sad  They did have it listed when they made the mentioned post.

None-the-less; thanks Nuno.

EDIT: I have emailed them reminding them of their claim. Wink

Alberto, founder and lead developer of Staisybit, responded already. Sterlingcoin will be added tonight after the wallet syncs.

Many thanks to the community members that requested Sterlingcoin be added.

I would like to suggest a little change in the title now we have passed the fork block

[ANN] Sterlingcoin - Version 1.5.1.1 Hardfork at Block 350,000

to

[ANN][SLG] Sterlingcoin | United Kindom | Bittrex - Bleutrade - Cryptopia - Litebit.eu

I like that change. If the version of wallet should also fit it would be great.

Some compromises had to be made with the allotted space. The "Litebit.eu" would not completely fit. Removing it and some spaces did provided sufficient space for the version number.
