is it possible to change some parameters of the coin, or even the algorythm? this coin, even if now it looks bleak, has much potential, and if only by it's name, now if that gets coupled with asic resistance and some other very smart parameters yet to be found or discussed on, it will be THE coin, I still believe in it and bought another 10k

How is possible, what all pools from first post except one use old wallet (most are dead) ?
My pool use new version, but looks only my pool mine it now with right version... Possible coin with new version forked.
Why where is no annoncement about new version with 16 coins block reward in first post and theme? Coin is dead?

i got acces to a win machine with admin rights at work, how hard is it to compile wallet? something that can be done without spending weeks on a learning curve? If so i got some free time at work both this and next week to look into it (what else should i do on my paid worj time) Wink

if its not sorted by then, and its straightforward something you can read yourself upon doing, have never done it before.

With a block reward of 64 coins it was hardly worth it, with a block reward of 16 is a waste of money and electricity. there are coins which give 10x the reward. thats why nearly noone mines this coin. If diff rises, it's even more lost money.

137k is affordable for most people at the current rates...wouldn't worry about it.

We should be happy for his work and that is fighting for new developments on the coin

only in this way will come new investors and new miners

The only reason I asked is because I wanted to learn, no bad feelings.

I know that smartcoin is not looking for short profit for free and will not abandon the coin by dumping those premines ASAP.
So that is why I bought some amount of SMC and holding it until at least 0.0001.

It is important everybody knows what is happening to those pre-mines even though it is cheap because when it finishes, the dev may lose interest in his own coin Wink
