As march comes to a close,

there was some good news,

the interview or discussion with psionin on the bitcoin radio show is a go.

The bitcoin radio show fellow confirmed that with me,

but did say it wouldn't be right away though.

We just need to line this up with psionin and the bitcoin radio show though.

The new smartcoin wallet looks good with new graphics/art.

The price of smartcoins went up to about 400 satoshi,

but has since come down somewhat,

but people are not selling that much, and I think that shows an overall optimism.

Thankfully, the cryptsy wallet got enabled after being under maintenance for a while,
it was frustrating but I am glad it is fixed now.


Cryptoine.com got hacked, but waiting to see if the website owner lets us back into
our accounts to get btc or smc. Today, I was trying to connect with some other exchanges
asking them to have smartcoin trading there, but have to wait and see.

We see that there needs to be more buy support or liquidity on the exchanges for smartcoin.

I have been thinking if there was some way to increase the buy-back program
( I am buying back if anyone pays me to post or put a coin at internetcoin.wordpress.com
but that is a small amount, not much to get excited about,
but maybe you have some ideas about how to increase the buy-back? )

"What needs to be done to get smartcoin into the smartphones?"

Simple ... mobi apps ... iOs and androids.

No rush, but should plan for release at end of August.  Talent will improve and cost of compiling mobi wallets will drop over the summer.

Yes it would be nice to get merchants on board.  But I would not worry too much.  The focus is price support.  Once that is established any merchant taking crypto can trade the buyers SmartCoins instantaneously for coin of choice.  So the adoption model is not so much "Do you take Smart Coin?" as it is "Do you take crypto?".  

Smartphones invading the local shopping malls.

I just went to a local shopping mall today, there was 6 kiosks selling cellphones or smartphones,
that is in addition to the cellphone store that has always been there.

What needs to be done to get smartcoin into the smartphones?

I think smartcoin needs more merchants accepting smartcoins for payment of products or services

I think smartcoin needs more people using smartcoins to pay for products or services


Is there a list of merchants who accept smartcoins?
What are you doing to try and find merchants to accept smartcoins?

The lightbulb is great for now, focus your time and money on tech and promotion.

IMHO

the logo is just fine for now.
when we get to +$250k in capital then maybe look to a new logo that is more elegant/sophisticated.

also think the lightbulb theme is a-okay, but an artist might improve on the style and colors some.

If everything goes well, we will need to work out the details of when the interview will happen,

I just spent a week going from shopping mall to shopping mall.
It was 90% "Smart Phone" adverts everywhere ... you could say wall to wall.

It appears to be destiny ... Smart Coin + Smart Phone Apps.

Hell even if SMC just does reviews of the latest and greatest smart phone there's a big market, but just the tip of an iceburg in the SMART phone possibilities.

And this is just one sector of the Smart Coin (smart money in the smart world).

Smartcoin has been offered an interview with a bitcoin radio show.

The lightbulb logo coin is fine...

I think it is sufficiently well-done


I do not think it will make or break smartcoin

It is nicely done artwork

It is uniquely smartcoin smc


It is much better than the pale big S design from the past
(the big pale S from the past did need to be changed, but the lightbulb is better)

I think the blue color is nice and dark and stands out in lists such as at cryptocoinrank.com
whereas the big S from the past, I couldn't hardly see it at all.


Look at bitcoin. For a long time, bitcoin didn't have a fancy looking coin.

There are variations of the bitcoin look, but they all tend to have a similar theme.

As with bitcoin, there is room for the humble looking design, as well as the fancier, I think.

A lightbulb?  It looks cheesy and cliché.  And it doesn't look crypto at all.  Nothing about it says slick, elegant or cutting edge tech. 

Will finally have time for SMC again after next week.  

I kind of have an issue, looking back I think it was a mistake to change the logo this fast because I have the feeling it's not a good one and doesn't go down well. I was thinking about leaving this matter to a professional, at my cost but on the other hand its probably a bad idea changing the logo/website again.
How do you feel about the logo etc?

Good work. I had "updated" my ticket back on the 14th to say the wallet they've been using is the correct wallet, in case they got confused with the new coin info I gave them. Either way, wallet's back up, but the coin info is still outdated. 

CRYPTSY WALLET IS BACK ONLINE AND PENDING DEPOSITS HAVE POSTED

Just got an update after pushing my ticket to get some attention in the chat on Cryptsy. 

They're saying it should be up within 24 hours.
