New P2P pool to mine spaincoin, just in case anyone doesnt want or isnt be able to do solo-mining. You can do solo-mining
setting your spaincoin.conf file using http with getblocktemplate and longpool (optional)

In this p2p pool you can connect using stratum protocol, therefore sign-up is not needed, just put your own spaincoin address
in your miner flag to receive the coins

https://onehispano.xyz

example: Ejemplo: miner --algo scryptn 16384 -o stratum+tcp://pool.onehispano.xyz:4333 -u your_spaincoin_address -p c=spa

Some flags can vary among miners

***IMPORTANT: the address to mine is pool.onehispano.xyz in this port 4333, whereas to access to your personal balance of your miner
is onehispano.xyz by using https if you wish an encrypt mode

The first payment can be take longer since in the spaincoin network it is necessary 120 confirmations for a block to declare it mature

You can ask me the doubts if I am able to help you,

This is no a profesional pool, is just to try to recover the money invested in this coin and one exhange somehow accept to list it

In the long term I think it will be better exchange this coin with old protocol to an ERC20 token avoiding the spendings derived from developing
an ulrasecure, scalable protocol which is too hard and expensive.

Greetings to everyone I just want to inform you there is one active node on this IP = 176.57.189.39
In order to add it you can either enter this command in the client(spaincoin-qt) console:
Code:
addnode 176.57.189.39
or add an entry within file spaincoin.conf like this:
Code:
addnode=176.57.189.39
. This file can be found in the
.spaincoin folder under your user's home directory. If you choose the last option, the client wallet must be restarted to setup the new config.

If you don't have the client spaincoin-qt, I was able to compile it for UBUNTU DESKTOP 20.04, I assume it can be used in others as well.
Click the link below to download it:

https://mega.nz/file/sloEWYKB#PXuqlcAqexaruBcqhwb5bv91hgsScmn-hydnBJCbLxE

So as to be able to use it, please read and follow the next instructions:

1) Copy(download) spaincoin-qt into a folder with permissions.
You can rename it if you wish, but then use that name for the remaining commands.

2) Open a terminal inside the folder that contains spaicoin-qt, enter these commands, parenthesis are not part of the command:

3)
Code:
sudo chmod u+x spaincoin-qt
(grant execution permission)

4) Adding bionic beaver repositories. Here They are the libraries that I used to compile the client wallet using qt5
[Now yo can pick one of these methods to include the repositories. Second one is less cumbersome]
   METHOD 1:
      1) Install gnupg and keys

Code:
sudo apt install gnupg
(if not installed yet)

Code:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com 3B4FE6ACC0B21F32 871920D1991BC93C
(in Debian, kali)
      2) add repositories using add-apt-repository command

Code:
sudo apt install software-properties-common
(if not installed yet)

Code:
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ bionic main restricted"

Code:
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal main restricted universe"

   METHOD 2:

Code:
sudo echo "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ bionic main restricted" >> /etc/apt/sources.list

Code:
sudo echo "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal main restricted universe" >> /etc/apt/sources.list

5)
Code:
sudo apt update
[update the repository cache that we've added in the previous step, it's mandatory to be able to install the new packets]

6)
Code:
sudo apt install libqt5widgets5 libminiupnpc17 libdb5.3++ libboost-system1.65.1 libboost-filesystem1.65.1 libboost-program-options1.65.1 libboost-thread1.65.1

7)
Code:
./spaincoin-qt

Aside Note: This has been tested on  ubuntu desktop 20.04 with gnome 3 and you can still use it in a virtual machine or WSL under Windows 10

If anyone wants to compile it by theirselves in the creator's official site in Github there are tutorial and manuals with instructions
but I have had to struggle a lot in order to make it work. This way you can dowload the source code and compile it by yourself.
I can post how I did it if there is enough interest.

I haven't found any exchange yet, there is another coin with the same symbol SPA but it is not Spaincoin. There is an exchange called graviex.net that works with bitcoin, litecoin forks
among others. I think they use a kind of voting system to accept the client wallets , even former or dead coins.

I don't have a clue about programming the source code of this wallet, is not my programming language and too many files. I just have some coins from the past and I dont want to waste them.

I know the ideal thing to easy management would be migrate this project coins to an ERC-20 token inside a smart contract on Ethereum, cardano or similar ones

Hope that helps and someone accomplishes to connect to the node. Another thing is than someone snoops in this room after so much time.

Be aware that if anyone wants to reach me for dm or wants to talk to me, I'm not a native speaker.

Twitter @realmicroguy
In March of 2017, the Goldcoin ($GLC) Team recovered billions of coins from the court appointed receiver handing the liquidation of the Cryptsy exchange.

SpainCoin is in the group of coins currently being offered for sale. SpainCoin still has a CMC listing which is a plus!

I think for this coin the value of $ 50 is quite real, it remains to wait until bitcoin regains its position.
And this coin will not keep you waiting

I'd prefer a POS algo or POS/POW for transition...Only believers would hold a coin or token and that make a strong network. Miners usually sell coins immediately. A coin is not only for profit is for being able to use it, for trading, selling things, etc

We agree algo has to be changed. Maybe the name of the coins would be better without -coin suffix

The first thing to do is bringing back to an Exchange and spaincoindev come back from the dead

Sorry for my english.

why not just encourage spaniards to use bitcoin ? everyone wants to have their own coin and guess what, they will all fail

Well, as far as I can see no one's going around giving 8 million Spaniards free bitcoins, for a start.

Seriously, go back through this thread and read. When you've done so, you'll see why this coin has a future.

So how did that future work out for spaincoin ?  Grin Grin Grin
God I love being right.

There are several running 24/7. As I said, you must have some issue on your side. Since I added you as a seed node, and there being so few nodes available, all active clients will try to connect to you. ALL OF THEM. If that's not happening then you have issues on your server.

(The situation you describe, intermittent connections and so on, is what would happen if you have your default port closed. Because it seems that nobody who's running 24/7 is allowing incoming connections)

Well I don't know what the issue is. I'm running at port 11492 as intended.
It was well working wallet which moved mining pool. Only port is changed as you suggested.

You'll find that there are a handful of peers trying to connect to you since you were added as a seed node. You have some issue on your side.
Most of these peers are not accepting connections, hence the difficulty in finding nodes anyone can connect to.

There were some connected peers time to time but they didn't keep connected long. I don't know what happened to them, just thinking that they are normal users and they just turned off computer. I couldn't see any 24 hour wallet running on public IP still.
