At least you are fair in handing the code to the community. I am sure if right team continues to develope , Supercoin will have bright future. The community of this coin was amazing, I have been following the thread since the begining. It is not community fault for this fiasco. It is only your fault as you were trying to do stuff that are against the holders point of view. You couldnt put your ego behind and do as majority of people wishes.
There is no place for ego in Crypto.

Thank you for developing such a great coin! I wish you all the best in your future!

This is absolutely wrong. Dev did more than enough for this coin, the community should carry the torch to promote and market it. Now he will release the code so community can completely takeover, this is the best thing we can expect.

I don't like such an altitude that dev did all the work to make a great coin, then get blames whenever price is down. If you don't want to participate, then don't buy the coin. Don't think that dev will do all promos and make the price soar and then you sit aside and profit, this is not the way that a coin should work.

To all people who like supercoin dev or hate us: we did our job for the supercoin, we provided the best technology and the the unique p2p trustless system for anonymous transfer. As we have repeatedly said, the success of a coin, depends on the community, not on the devs. The devs provided the best they can for this coin. Rest is the community who will define the direction of the coin.

I will publish the source code of supercoin p2p trustless system for anonymous transfer by the end of this month. Of course the source code will be copied by many copycatters, who form the most "devs" in the alt coin domain. But at least the source code will help those who are capable of continuing developing and enhancing the code. All details are published in the whitepaper, there is nothing hidden.

Myself and supercointeam are too busy at our own work to continue developing coins. It's been a wonderful few months with the community here. And in the future if I find more time, I'll do some more serious work on the coin code. It is fun and a great experience for me.

Dev,

First and foremost, I thank you sincerely for showing up to the thread.

You did A job. You built what appears to be a leap forward in anonymous transactions. So thank you again for stating you will release the source. As for the community doing its' job and crafting the direction of the coin...It's hard to sell something you don't know anything about, nor can it be verified. Although your white paper is specific enough, its not proof for everyone that the code does as it states.

When you release this code, you can expect to see a dynamic shift in momentum of the coin. It'll be a lot easier to stand behind and argue for super as the anonymous coin of choice for endeavors who wish to use a truly anonymous technology. Ideas peak interest, facts sell.

For now, I'll be buying hard.

Thank you for all the hard work you have done so far.

Some people here thinks that the dev's job is to make them richer by constantly doing something to the coin. Ignore them. It's a shame that you cannot continue with this little project of yours "for now". I hope you do drop by once in a while to say hi and watch how Supercoin develops. Of course, everyone here will be very happy if you provide a helping hand from time to time whenever you feel like it. Surprise us once in a while if you feel like doing so. Grin Grin

I appreciate the official posting of your current intentions & willing to publish the source code. THANK YOU! Smiley

OK, that's fine, thanks.  The sensible and skilled members of the community will come together when the source code is available, and can take the project forward.

So, what are you trying to say, dev, is that you gave up Supercoin, and now working to develop other coin? I don`t get it!
You already got a coin with good potential, and all of us , headed by CryptoBull the community leader (who done everything he could to promote or to find solutions), will help you to take Super to another level!
If you are working to develop another coin, what can you do for that coin, that can`t be done to Supercoin?
Community tried hard to do something, but the hands are tight. we didn`t even changed the wallet logo, which I think it can be done only by the devs, not us. Cryptobull sent you many pm`s proposing this and that, and got no answer!
I am not trying to accuse anyone here, I`m just saying this, because I want to help in any way our coin to move upwards.
Anyway, I`m a bagholder and I will never sell my coins even if Supercoin will die!!!
Best regards!

BTW, regarding the release of the source code, I don`t think it is a smart move. If you want to give the source code, give it to us, the community, or give it to CryptoBull who, I bet will do the best he can to help Supercoin.
Please do not reveal the code to the public and copycats!!
Thanks!

Grin Hello Guys !  Grin

I will try to explain in a simply way where we are going to with SUPER and where we are now ...

1. PoW blocks were minted and there is no way to mine that blocks by any of pools    ( I have configured one and I've got massage "No more PoW blocks") so give up    with that idea.

2. Only way now is to "mine"="generate" PoS blocks which are generated by network    (wallets) the key to generate PoS by You are:
   a. generate at least 2 adresses in your wallet
   b. transfer to them a least 500 coins
   c. wait 1 day and network will generate PoS by use Your coins and addresses

3. That's mean that SUPER coin is not dead in fact it will be mine in diffrent      way (PoS blocks) and  one thing is important: we have brilliant technology    (Supersend) potential with    supersend    technology

4. We have got nodes, coins and wallets on diffrent platforms and now its time to    use that in a right way ... in fact I have to repeat and ask You quastion    once again: What do we need for coin to be successed ?
   a. networks with nodes (we have)
   b. wallets on diffrent platform (we have)
   c. coins (we have)
   d. advertisiment team and stuff !!! we do not have enough so we should do    all we can to promote that coin and that technology everywhere in social    networks.. etc... etc...

5. Leave developers away they do their job .... SUPER is like BTC leaved alone by    architect ... and it goes in his own way ....

6. Promote, promote, promote !!! all we can do for that coin

7. Share your ips that we could add them as a nodes to supercon.conf

good points,

"   d. advertisiment team and stuff !!! we do not have enough so we should do    all we can to promote that coin and that technology everywhere in social    networks.. etc... etc..."
in addition to that if you dont want me to do donation collection job then choose someone you trust and get things going on.

"Donation wallet

Yes you have a brilliant crypto coin, know or learn your coin and act so.

Fuck you idiot, all up to the community?
Please release that shit so a "dev" that actually will communicate will implement it.
All you did was asked for donations, went quiet on everyone here, it is a two way street guy.
You do not come out with a coin and expect to do nothing more.

If there are less idiots like you, I am sure devs will continue.

+1

BTW, the reason we don't want "auditors" is that very few people in alt coin domain has the ability of "auditing" our code. It will be a joke asking an amateur to review an expert's code. A good example is many of you already know how Poloniex "reviewed" our simple code (not even containing any anon features).
