ive tried both miners by djm and lasybear and using 14.6 driver

thank you

I sent 500 TAC to djm34 for the new miner.
I sent 250 TAC to the person who coded the block explorer.
I have sent 500 TAC to qiwoman for blogging about TAC on her blog.
I will also pitch in to the successful candidate for a fully functional mobile wallet with chat...
Very happy to help out with the continued development of this fantastic project...

Like right now, taking the highest buy price @ 6899... with block reward @ little over 21 with dif 144....100 MH wont even get you .02 BTC a day. Who here can mine this that pays for power @ 11 dollars a day? Okay maybe you can but then your only pulling a few bucks of profit, and that is not taking into account hardware cost for rate of return. Its pure sh(t.

The strong steady growers over time are never profitable to instamine...  If you wait a month or two however....

yup, difference between smart miners vs. impatient quick profit miners.

Is the original dev still active?

it's a team.. and yes..
Excellent.  I have no idea how I missed this and am pissed at myself that I did.

An active, innovating dev.  This coin should have a $x,xxx, xxx market cap right now.

I'm in.

I just found out a couple days ago and just started mining. Looks very interesting

I am getting on 1xR290 7.26Mh/s is that correct?

14.6 drivers

sgminer.exe -I 20 -d 0 --kernel nist5 -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3366 -u *** --thread-concurrency 24000 --worksize 256 -g 1 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 947 --gpu-powertune 20 --temp-overheat 95 --gpu-fan 75 --no-submit-stale

This is too low. I get: 280X=12.74 Mh/s and 270=7.961 Mh/s using 14.6 and djm34 miner, thread concurrency 8128 and gpu-engine 1150

thanks AMAC what beer do you like? Wink

I changed TC - 8128 now I got 13.8mh/s

few tweaks

14.1 mh/s - I can see almost smoke from my card Cheesy

All beers except non alcoholic Wink Anyway you can send tips to: Ta1iTyupKe65oFYF5VTrQDyHzLBctyPdcR and don't forget about djm34
I got 9m/s with djm34 version with 270x.I think 280x and 290 should be tweaked more!

Once again..smaller blocks or higher hash rate does not mean anything... gez its like talking to a wall in here.

You look at the hash with dif.... you will see it has done nothing but make the coins worth even less. If your mining with 100 MH you would have seen your profitability go from .04 down to .022 in a matter of a week.

Let say you cut the reward, sure some might drop out lowing the hash and the dif at the same time, but that would just then even it out to the point we are at around the .025 mark. That is IF the hash drops and the dif drops, but if it stays the same, that would mean even less profitability.

To be honest it has gotten to the point where I wonder myself if it would even be worthwhile to mine at this rate. We would need a huge jump in the price at this rate to even touch what it used to be... was are talking in the lines of + 10k for that to happen... unless there is strong movement up, its not going to happen.

I'm not a miner, but wouldnt lowering reward = lower coin supply which would mean if this gets a high market cap then price would rise much higher, than compared with an inflated amount of coins with the same market cap

ANNOUNCEMENT

We decided to improve the voting system so that the maximum change in block reward will be +/-10% after each vote.

This means that the block reward can only differ by 10% twice per week, depending on votes cast from the wallet.

The goal of voting is to be democratic and help the market decide the best supply and cost structure for Talkcoin.

Voting lets the market balance demand between miners, investors and people using TAC to communicate.

This lets supply adapt to changes in the market and grow Talkcoin as a currency people can invest in and use for the long term.

The +/-10% change just smooths out this process and will be included in the next release at the end of June.

Is this 'part' of the release package at the end of June?

Yep. Big release at the end of June.
That's why dev is too busy.
Btw we have crossed 21Ghs nethash mark. If tomorrow the nethash goes to 30Ghs, you will see what happens with TAC's price.
I have been promoting this coin a lot, what will happen to price if goes to 30ghs hash? I'm not a miner

it gets harder to obtain talkcoin.
hmmm...so wouldnt it be better to just lower reward, so the price goes higher rather than waiting for 30ghs

Hey guys - I cannot seem to find the MAX # of coins, anyone care to help me? Daily generation is pretty high with around 95k coins per day so I'm wondering what's that in relation to.
