True, pre-ICO, or private sale, investors are a way to screw over the rest of us imo. There are some projects that do pre-pre icos, which is even more ridiculous.

It really feels like cheating but at the end of the day it depends on what the tokens are being used for I think. Are you planning on distributing tokens for some sort of system or are they for financing? You get some weird balances of those two factors.

It is a multipurpose token, with a mix of governance, loyalty and utility usages and yes looks wired at this moment, but for a startup at the very first stage I do not think it as a problem.
Trading volume is low and a little push will bring the price 50% up.

I will wait for the announcement to come out by officials about potential partners which are showing interest and are testing the usage of this kind of token energy system.
