Don't quite get it: what is the real value for tickets merchendizers in switching from traditional systems to blockchain? Is it, like, faster? Cheaper???
With traditional system, there is a number of unsolved problems, such as  fakes and fraud, speculations, non-transparency for the spectator, incomplete sale of tickets for events, high price cap for entering the market for distributors, lack of a common standard for working with ticket organisations. The crypto.ticket will solve these problems and forever change the ticket industry, ensuring mutually profitable interaction of all players on the market. Check page 9 of our WS for more detail on that  Wink

I really do not think you need blockchain for this project Undecided Undecided

We were solving the problem with secondary market and without blockchain can't do that - if you sell tickets from primary organiser - nobody knows what's happening with it.
Now primary market - $30bln. Secondary - $9bln. - Just imagine, blockchain will fastly impact 1/4 of all market, primary sellers are waiting for the solution.
Also, blockchain makes a lot of good things to ticket buyer (b2c) - you can always check ticket issuer, conditions, is it true or not.

So, blockchain is important part, it will totally change process of ticket distribution

Anyway, we have post in FAQ about your question.

Retyping article about competitos from https://blog.crypto.tickets/competitors-18c3111daea0

Competitors

The team of Tickets Cloud, an online ticketing platform, is launching the ICO of its latest blockchain-based project called crypto.tickets. The project will become a universal global decentralized ticketing platform open to all market players. The ICO starts on October 5, 2017, and will last for four weeks. But we are not the only player in this area. Lately, the entertainment industry has seen the emergence of a number of projects that aim to solve the most pressing issues of the ticketing market: profiteering, fakes, and high barriers for new entrants. Every company seeks to address them in its own way and develops services that soothe the typical pains of event organizers, ticketing systems, and end users. Based on two blockchain-powered services, we will show the distinctive features of our service.
London-based Aventus is working on a blockchain solution to prevent ticket counterfeiting and profiteering. The platform enables organizers to create and manage tickets, be in full control of resale pricing and earn the associated fees, and combat costs. In addition, Aventus features loyalty programs for ticket buyers, where the most active users receive rewards for promoting gigs and helping spot fraudsters. Aventus has raised over US$18 mln in an ICO.
The company has no plans to offer analytics or an API for ticketing systems, so it is not possible to integrate it into third-party processes. All the advantages are sealed within the Aventus platform, including their customer service tools. The company thus will have to compete against the entire industry, including the incumbent players clearly unwilling to yield their market share.
Another debutante, KickCity, advertises itself as Facebook meets Slack, a blockchain-based social event platform. The team of KickCity has a tremendously ambitious goal of creating a value-based social network where users could obtain any necessary information on blockchain and crypto-currencies, with rewards for those who provide it.
KickCity intends to use events and gigs as leverage to form a community around blockchain. To enable it, the team is developing a social event platform centered around the communities of organizers and attendees. KickCity is focused on creating communities around events and empowering organizers to launch, promote, and make money off events.
Essentially, the main idea behind KickCity is centered around event management and is not aimed at end users. It is tool to promote events and draw more crowds.
Why crypto.tickets is different
Instead of competing with the incumbent players, crypto.tickets provides a technology for both the existing and new players. Our team believes that a blockchain ticketing platform should be open to all market participants. That’s why crypto.tickets has been designed as a decentralized platform, which connects to any existing ticketing system to provide the full advantages of blockchain to its customers.
Crypto.tickets is sending the entire industry into a new orbit. With paper tickets being replaced with electronic ones, the next step of the evolution is a crypto ticket with embedded monetary policy.
Numerous projects that employ blockchain to a varying degree are designed to manage events and ticketing centrally. E.g., to tap into the full potential of KickCity or Aventus, organizers are forced to abandon their current ticketing solutions: the most control they can hope for is to embed a third party widget on their website and play by rules set by others.
In turn, crypto.tickets offers an API which organizers and ticketing platforms can use to set their own rules of distribution, resales, and refunds with the help of smart contracts. This way organizers can compete more openly, giving customers more choice.
The relationship between organizers and spectators are regulated via smart contracts, and unlike other blockchain-based products, we actually do subscribe to the ideals of decentralization.
Crypto.tickes will also enable a vibrant secondary market for tickets, a decentralized exchange where attendees will be able to resell their own tickets. For big gigs, holders will be able to auction their tickets off to a person who offers the most money within a limited timeframe.
It’s also worth pointing out that the creators of crypto.tickets have a trove of experience in the ticketing industry and business in general. Their current platform, Tickets Cloud, serves over 1,000 event organizers and 100 distributors, yielding a monthly turnover of US$2,000,000 and over 400% growth.

These guys are liars at its best.

They've lost all the money previously invested, because of the high cash burn, they are decreasing in traction dramatically, no strong clients using their shitty solution (they are even giving it out to use for free, to get some additional clients to show any traction) and no one in russia was ready to invest any in this falling angel. Even previous angels. Except one from Luxembourg invested previously and looking for a chance to get his money back, providing financials for a promo campaign to get others money to cover his loses, and to start investing on the ico additional amounts in crypto to show the ico traction for other participants.

Be aware!

That is why the last chance is to make an ico for a bullshit idea, which is not even in production yet, and if needed could be implemented by any other ticketing company with strong engineering in several weeks.

No 35+ people in their team, they are located in coworking area, no 2M+ monthly turnover. They had never had any experience outside Russia.

Most of the posts above are from bots and people involved in promo campaign.

SCAM! Believe, you will lose your money. They have no chance, will fail as with their previous projects.

Nothing from your message can not be supported by real facts. Soon, we are going to publish the news, that it has already been invested 250K $ in our project.
And by the way, it's funny to read this kind of post from newbie user".
Sure, real facts would be really appreciated!
Just prove your 2M+ turnover via open payment processing information,  show your list of 1000 clients, that use your solution right now,
show your 35+ people employee contracts and their social network profiles. Also please describe any international experience that your
team had, with references. Open GIT with platform code, announce contracts that you have already made with any of the international ticketing platforms to
use your blockchain solution.Without this information, you guys just trying to raise easy money for your sick fantasies!  Be transparent.
Hey, dudes? Any answers for the questions mentioned above? And one additional, btw, do you have at least 1 ticketing platform that you've signed already to use your future fantasy blockchain? Any idea, why should they do that, keeping in mind, that it takes not more than 3 weeks to integrate own blockchain into their business, if it would be needed. Any idea, why should guys like Ticketmaster, or even smaller leaders in local ticketing use your non existing product? Guys, you are funny!

Seem that it writes guy, who was fired 1.5 years ago from ticketscloud.com for his insane behaviour. That is usual strategy - ignore my posts and keep writing shit.

Sooooo we are expecting really looooooong conversation.
But first, I'm waiting an answer for my question: Why did you ignore my article at page #6? There was an answer, but you keep noising.

As i see, you didnt answer any of exact questions asked. No facts. Just bubbles. Repeating:

Prove your 2M+ turnover via open payment processing information,  show your list of 1000 clients, that use your solution right now,
show your 35+ people employee contracts and their social network profiles. Also please describe any international experience that your
team had, with references. Open GIT with platform code, announce contracts that you have already made with any of the international ticketing platforms to

Btw, do you have at least 1 ticketing platform that you've signed already to use your future fantasy blockchain? Any idea, why should they do that, keeping in mind, that it takes not more than 3 weeks to integrate own blockchain into their business, if it would be needed. Any idea, why should guys like Ticketmaster, or even smaller leaders in local ticketing use your non existing product? What exchanges have you already dealed with, in the way of token distribution.

guys, don't understand what's the difference between crypto ticket and TKT token

Please can someone answer this, the knowledge is needed

Ifeoluwa, hi!

TKT is utility token. All operations within the crypto.tickets ecosystem are executed in its internal digital currency (TKT token), which ensures high security level and does not allow any unauthorized human intervention in the processes within the system. Every member of crypto.tickets has its own wallet at Tickets Chain where the TKT are stored.

would it be possible to buy tickets with fiat money?

EluosiWawa, visitor via the website or  Tickets Cloud widget buys the ticket for fiat currency or TKT tokens. So, in firts case  the fiat currency is converted automatically into the system token via the Tickets Chain exchange gateway.  Smiley
