Quite likely that person has a cluster of workers.  Its popular to find older Opteron servers (6274's) or using many XU4's for mining Verium.

I get around 45 H/m with mine it's a Ryzen 5 1600x with 12 threads I'm using cpuminer-opt-3.6.5 though.

Do You mean 45 H/s (not H/m)? And what is your OS?

If you are on Ryzen you are wasting your time with Verium. You clearly need to be cpu mining cryptonight (Monero, etc). I had a brand new compile of cpuminer-opt and it was recognizing my ryzen with all of its optimizations as far as I can tell. The problem with ryzen 1700 (8 core) is that it isn't what you think it is...its an interconnected cluster of two quad cores. It's hard to explain. I guess there are some very specific disadvantages to this, either in the cache performance or the memory performance via the bus that connects the two quad cores together.


I get your point but people are gonna do whatever they want with their Ryzens imo there are other coins way more attractive to mine with CPU besides Verium even with Intels and it's also a matter of how high is the price going to go in the future.

Your shit amd hashrates on verium will do the following for you right about now....

If my Excel spreadsheet data is correct (verium calculator I have). You might get $50/month on a 6950X Broadwell-E DDR4 3400 setup.

On a ryzen 1700 you will get 1/3 of the 4600 Hash/minute that I get. You might get 28 hash/second on a 1700.

Unless I totally messed up the ryzen compilation which I don't think I did this is shit for Verium....

$17/month on ryzen 1700? Plz. Switch to monero. They just tripled in value and for ryzen owners you will get some $40+ per month profit out of monero which is about what I make on my $1500 processor on Verium...

I would switch to Monero but find Verium more stable difficulty wise. For AMD owners its a no brainer. Verium's tough memory/memory controller requirements means basically don't bother with AMD yet until they really support Quad channel among other memory performance issues and improvements.

On my Ryzen rig I already switched it to Monero. For my intel rig Verium is a no brainer there. Monero profit would be about same on my intel rig, but monero's difficulty rises too quickly due to GPU competition where Verium doesn't have that problem...although Monero is cool because it has a slight cpu performance/watt advantage where the more expensive gpus use slightly higher wattage per hash on monero than most new cpus do. Pretty interesting stuff. For either Intel or AMD owners basically.

I can get half the watts with 1/3 less hashrate on my ryzen 1700 on monero than the amd 480/580. Great stuff.

Its between this and Verium. I'm not here to promote Monero. I'm here to get AMD users off of Verium to make my intel rigs more money, and to make amd owners more money on monero. It's a total win-win.

I like verium better but only with Intel setups because the difficulty seems more stable than monero due to gpu miners switching to it away from Ethereum after the latest monero pump. I also can heavily underclock and undervolt my cpu with verium as your hashrate will be exactly the same no matter what your clock speed is, no matter what your cpu voltage is set to. This leads to insane efficiency per watt.

Verium badly needs memory bandwidth, not even cache performance....just good memory sticks in quad channel. That and a good memory controller, which favors intel for some reason. That's all I can understand so far.

I can't explain it because I don't even understand it myself.

I don't know how much of this is resolved in the 16 core ryzen threadripper.

I know ryzen has only dual channel memory support which sucks bad for Verium.

Threadripper will have Quad channel, so I don't know how much is fixed with Verium mining and it's memory controller.

Remember folks....Cryptonight is a Cache hard coin. Verium is memory hard.

I Have DDR4-3400 with undervolted DRAM voltage at 1.2V. Cpu heavily undervolted to 0.918V.

Cpu is 3159 MHz with Cache at 3159 with cpu voltage at 0.918V 6950X 10 Core 6950X Broadwell-E I get 4600 Hash/Minute at the most, around 75-76 Hash/second on average

My ryzen 1700 gets under 30 Hash/second which is shit with its dual channel memory support and not being able to really support more than DDR4-2800 very easily at all. Too many people report having to raise their memory timings to get above DDR4-2800 stable on Ryzen, and you don't have to do that on Intel at all...or at least this was the case last I checked...

On cryptonight my ryzen 1700 8 core can do 600 Hash/second when overclocked closer to 4.0 GHz. On Stock voltage I can do maybe 3.6 GHz.

I can do 6950x 10 Core Broadwell-E 800 Hash/second Monero cryptonight (heavily overclocked to 4.3 GHz with overvoltage around 1.310V) or 600 Hash/second on amd ryzen overvolted and overclocked toward 3.8 or just 550 hash/sec on 3.6 Stock voltage.

My point is that on Ryzen Monero (cryptonight) is almost 1:1 with per core performance on Intel. Monero is not memory hard at all, but cache hard. Monero responds to cpu core overclock somewhat, Verium has no response to cpu over overclock, but huge responses with memory overclocking.

Ryzen has very shitty memory performance right now, and Verium badly needs that....

Leave us alone on Verium AMD fanboys. You are taking our coin and you are profiting for shit on your ryzen chips. Move to Monero. They have no gpu advantage over there (slight cpu advantage, actually on perf/watt for cryptonight/monero)

If moving to monero don't forget to download xmr-stak-cpu that's clearly the best monero software miner right now. If you run the config properly it should be setup to only use half of your threads. Monero gets slower when using the fake hyperthreads. Monero needs to only use your actual physical cores. On some intel's Monero will be configured by the xmr-stak-cpu to run all the regular cores + 1 or 2 of the hyperthreads.

XMR-STAK-CPU will configure itself for best performance if you run the setup properly....

it warns you to enable "locked pages". That memory error will go away and your hashrate will go up like 30% when you fix the error in the xmr-stak-cpu miner window...

Google "Enable locked pages (your windows version here)"...Enable it, then switch because Verium mining sucks on all AMD hardware.

YES THIS APPLIES TO PILEDRIVER/BULLDOZER AS WELL. VERIUM SUCKS THERE TOO. MOVE TO CRYPTONIGHT/MONERO there too. Same rules apply.

After haveing a talk with a friend of mine (small miner) and after receiveing some messages about withdraw limits the withdraw limits will be lowered on both pools. Your current set auto-withdrawlimit will not be touched so the miners can decide by themselves if they want to lower withdraw limit or not. Network fee will have to remain, but withdraw limit will get lowered for about 33%.  So people should be able to withdraw 10VRM as a minimum limit.

If you wish i can also lower this 10VRM limit again if you think it is better,but please keep in mind that you will loose about 0.2VRM on each withdraw.
I will also post this on slack and hope to receive some feedback as DM/PM on slack.

Thanks for doing that, I am one of the people that sent you an email about the limits. I could barely mine anything for 3 weeks as I was getting too many errors and disconnects and getting the 15 appeared impossible. Since then however, mining is back to normal. Appreciate the lower limit.

1) in raw (10) Intel Xeon E5-2690 v2 CPU count should be "2" instead "1"
2) in raw (25) There is no model Core i7 6600K it should be Core i7 6700K

If you see discrepancies, submit them in the "Add entries here" tab.  I'm sure the owner of the sheet will be happy to fix them.

I downloaded the wallet and added nodes in verium.conf but the synchronization is very slow, is there a faster method?

There's no way to speed it up, but you could download a bootstrap of the blockchain and add it to the Verium folder in Appdata.
