Sent out some Verium yesterday from the wallet and it's still at 0 confirmations...

Paste your tx. How many blocks is your wallet showing?

has verium been in development for a year? From what I see development is only to new versions of roadmap?  Huh

Yes, huge mining overhaul, most of work done without commits because it was being pieced together (wouldn't compile, would crash etc), after initial code development push of changes was done on branch 1.1, now 1.1 is master and commits are being pushed there. https://github.com/VeriumReserve/verium/commits/master

All OSes and architecture wallet builds for 1.1 are now being prepared, including the addition of windows 64bit

Any significant advancements using the 64bit build? Will mining hashrate improve?

Also should we prefer wallet mining over veriumMiner CLI?

I'm afraid that this algorithm is optimized to the maximum, the fundamental question in what version is the miner in the wallet, is it already a fast 64bit?

The verium is still gpu resistant  Cool

It isn’t botnet resistant though.. you know those huge hashrates on various pools. Makes it a little discouraging for the small time miners out there

Solo is still more profitable in the long run

I installed the AMD Overdrive utility, and disabled Turbo Core. I'll see if that helps.

Immediately I can see my temps dropped to 32C, and the speed is now 1.5kH/s

I've had a heck of a time trying to get mining to work with my 8 core AMD-FX Vishera 8350. Every miner I've tried exits back to cmd prompt after running for less than an hour. The only workaround I've tried that works is to put the batch file in a loop to restart the miner after it quits.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!

Increase paging. min 32GB max 64GB. Cheers

Thanks Jacko0088! I had it set to max 32Gb so I upped it to 64GB. I'll see if it continues and report back.

Also maybe it could be a thermal throttling issue Wink

It's still restarting about every 8 shares or so. My CPU temps are steady at around 40C. I'm stumped. My mobo maybe throttling despite my cooling setup. I'll have to look into that.

We are investigating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Blockupdate disabled, blocks and transactions confirmations are delayed

edit: By the way, anyone having trouble compiling the new Verium wallet? I'm trying to do it on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Raspbian Jessie. I noticed there were a few new dependencies but I think I've sorted all that out.

Code:
makefile.unix:195: recipe for target 'obj/scrypt.o' failed
make: *** [obj/scrypt.o] Error 1
I'm no l33t_liNuX_h4x0r so it's probably me doing something wrong. Any ideas? The old wallet compiled without any trouble (after sorting the trouble out that is Wink).

this was a linker bug it's now fixed.
