It's nice to have a long term horizon of a hundred years of mining, and it's true that web-mining can achieve a higher decentralization than any other method. However, at the moment there is still one fundamental element which is totally centralized, and this is your website, where the people can mine. Should your server disappear, so would the network. And obviously your server cannot plan to be online for the next 100 years. How are you planning to solve this critical issue?

Yes, anyone can import our miner&wallet in their website only adding 2 code lines. But the safest place to mine WebDollar will be our website for avoid scam.

An external wallet client with built in pool hosting would be a great way to solve this. I am not too sure how difficult that would be, but it would be very beneficial.

Hi, today I spent 10 hours in the mine, I caught three blocks, after the reboot they disappeared like this. The screen was not copied. Question. Copy screen After each block?

You most likely hit blocks on a fork.

if you have poor latency, or poor hardware, you will probably have a lot of fork issues.

Another possibility is that he has been mining in a browser with privacy settings set for anonymous navigation. In this case, if I'm right, if you don't save the wallet it will disappear if you close the browser. Just in case, I'd recommend to everybody to backup ASAP your own wallet.

Yes this is true, each miner should have cold storage of the wallet, this is why he can download very easy the wallet.

UPDATE: Already developed, we will deploy it sooon, thank you again for your feedback

Most probably you mined another block which contained 10 webd fees and them became again a rounded number,
OK. That makes sense. Thanks. BTW, I think it's important that 10 WEBD of default fees be fixed.

As I answered here before you can change it manually. It is set by default to 10.

I have no problem setting it myself. I just think it is a mistake to have that as the default, and a statement that fees on your network should default to so high negatively impacts the perceived value of your coin. Just trying to help the coin.

That is true, we will update this too. You can make an issue on github, if you don't have time I will make it by myself. Thank you for your support!

Did the team somehow reimburse people for the large fees? My wallet balance was 10 WEBD off after paying that much to send a transaction. Now, I'm no longer missing 10 WEBD, and my balance is a clean multiple of the block reward. Unless the team sent coins to addresses that paid unreasonable fees, how could this have happened? Just looking for an explanation, or possibly someone to thank.

I am not sure exactly what are you meaning but if is what I think most probably you received bounties or a transaction from someone.

I had a balance than ended in 990 because of the 10 WEBD that I paid for a transaction. Now, I only have round numbers, and no transactions are shown, including the one that cost me 10 WEBD. When I posted, I didn't consider the fact that a blockchain reorg (edit) may have happened, but it had been some time since my transaction. I also see that I can only look at the last 20 blocks for transactions, which makes what happened harder to figure out.

Today I have spent the whole day mining at the same address with two i7 PCs, one 8-core and one 4-core, and have managed not to find a single block. Not even one. This is really throwing away electricity, these powerful CPUs consume a lot and in my country electricity is expensive like hell. I will give it a few hours more but at some point I'll have to cut the losses and stop mining. It will be cheaper to buy the coins mined by others.

EDIT: After 14 hours I have finally found a block. So I will keep the PC on Smiley

There are a lot of miners, now we are working on blockchain explorer and mining pools.

Well, this answer makes a sense. But of course also my question did, before knowing this answer Smiley

Yes you're right!

Exchanges and Pools in May?  Good stuff !

Please don't sign up to the first shitty exchange you can. Having a a coin listed on a sketchy exchange can stunt adoption.

Good answer, thank you! We will do our best with exchanges. We want to be sure the exchange is safe for our community because this is the most important fact with a exchange.

This coin has been listed on https://newborncryptocoin.com !

Cool, the admin should update the status on that website.

I don't see it listed on there unless I'm missing something, how soon until this coin goes on an actual exchange?

In May for sure mining pools and exchange!
