We have to find a name for the future, It has to be short and simple. I think that X is cool but to short and won't make sense in the future, XC is sweet & simple.
Think about these two:
"Hey can I purchase some of these X bonds?"
"Hey can I purchase some of these XC bonds?"
X sounds like something unknown, XC has some kind of meaning.

On the name front, I'm thinking at this point XC is recognized - and from that we have xcode, xchange... etc... personally I like xcode

I am not sure about the name XChange either. To me it reminds me of having pocket change, I want folding money.
With t hat said, it also sounds like an exchange which could be good. If phase ii is implemented and allows use of XC similar to a credit card or at ATM machines then the XChange name is great and would get my vote.
