For those who missed it, there was a test thread lasting over a month, where the devs did an incredible job bringing this thing together, and after creating a completely new type of coin, ensuring the release and mining was as stable and fair as possible.  With all the innovation, it'd be a miracle if this were the biggest issue yet to come.  If you've newly joined, please don't make assumptions about their character based on the windows wallet being down for a couple hours.

Why was the coin not relaunched? Didn't want to loose that premine did ya DEV.  Going on the shit coin list.
Oh yeah our master plan was to spend nearly 4 months and tens of thousands of dollars on this project, just so we could release a faulty Windows build and get a little bit of an advantage. Nice theory sherlock, but I'm afraid it was just bad luck, and considering how experimental this altcoin is, we're lucky it's the worst thing that has happened so far. I am extremely sorry to those windows people who wasted some electricity mining the bad chains, but we got a new windows build out as quickly as possible and a relaunch is simply out of the question, it will only make the situation worse than it needs to be.

Ok we should have working Windows binaries now.

cryptonited-qt:
http://gpile.it/mbc/win64_cryptonite-qt_14072723.exe

cryptonited:
http://gpile.it/mbc/win64_cryptonited_14072723.exe

EDIT: you will probably need to delete the cryptonite folder inside of ~/AppData/Raoming/

Well dev seems to be working so far I did not re-download the dll's tho? No matter?

Still have to say the shit that went down with this launch is not cool.

I can't get a transaction from block 1 by the hash.
Can anybody check it?
What's wrong?

Code:
getblockhash 1

getblock 0000007200edbbd3f3500fb6444e5a85ef6f5a10cced726e8d6c8b0b198dd181

]
}

gettransaction 1e08f4eff42623867148e9e80f30345c5c856840535baf9eb6c44ac6c89c7700

How many coins in one block?
currently 243+ coins per block.

we're at block 700 now, this mean 170,000 coin mined already.

This is BS launch. REDO.

No binaries, no build instructions, no pools. I wonder when there will be block explorer to see where these first blocks are going
Binaries are available, working Windows binaries will be back up soon. The build process is virtually the same as Bitcoin, but you also need libgmp-dev. Pools will hopefully be available within a few weeks or months, be we're using a new PoW algorithm, so it will take time. A block explorer is possible but it will also take some time since many of the underlying processes of Cryptonite are different from all other Bitcoin-based coins. We do have one exchange interested in adding XCN to their list of traded coins so hopefully we'll get that set up soon.

Code:
ERROR: CheckProofOfWork() : hash doesn't match nBits
ERROR: AcceptBlockHeader() : incorrect proof of work
ERROR: ProcessBlockHeader() : AcceptBlockHeader FAILED

Anyone know why this happens?

Are you on Linux? If so, you're client is likely rejecting blocks sent to it by rogue Windows nodes with the incorrect difficulty calculation, which @catia in IRC pointed out to be an issue in the way libgmp handles long precision on different platforms.

Yes, thanks.

Fixed windows binary will be available very soon.
It's late now, need  to relauch , or will be unfair to willows user.

 Don't be so struggle to make it live ,dev, or this coin will  die.

only relauch with a fair start ,can save this coin.
