I think if we integrate application level URI schemes (i.e. xcp://) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/aa767914(v=vs.85).aspx, with a distributed storage parallel block chain to host websites -- the value of xcp would go up marginally in about a week.
In fact a simple executable with root privileges could reprogram browsers without any user effort.
Thoughts? If enough people are interested I can partially fund this project. ©

MSC DEx only has the sell side, I think that it's a nice idea to solve the matching based on sell orders and buy orders automatically.
This strategy won't work when there's high volume: multiple users can choose the same order. Orders overlapping is a big problem.
that is not true there is one to one matching. the first one in, assuming they send btc, is the first one out to get msc.
Nevertheless, it will make for a very unpleasant user-experience. You will have to constantly reconstruct your order, basically if you don't happen to click on the order first.
Also, only allowing users who are selling MSC to make limit order is completely arbitrary. Counterparty's distributed exchange allows both parties to place limit orders and always matches them based on the terms made by the first party. It's a better and much more general approach.

the email activation link of the counterparty forum user account never shows up and i cant comment on thing i would have commented annonymously. this is important for the community's open disscussion

Actually, they have the same problem as XCP, you can't escow BTC.
Could you outline the escrow use case? Are you referring to MSC/BTC or something else?

every person has different purposes for alt/metacoins, some just want to pump and dump to get more btc or even more fiatmoney. I am interested in this stuff long term, maybe partly due to ideologic reason, partly due to the superiorty of cryptofinance in comparison to normal finance. I do not disrespect the pump and dumpers, but this community does not really consist of these people, or at least the fraction is not huge. when you invest in something innovative you are not there for pump and dump.
anyway i decided before burning to donate 10% of all my xcp created for different bounties and wanted to donate 1% per month, but i think development in the beginning is much more important than in the end so I donated more in the beginning and let the rate decline.
but we do not need to be disrespectful to persons, because they are following different purposes. when they dump people who are interested in the product get the coins cheap, which is good long term

But not everyone here are burners. I got into XCP @0.015, though for a longer term. Atleast, XCP, should break-even for me to make a donation. Makes sense?

Go through the thread, it has been written and acknowledged by the devs already. People are so lazy nowadays... Or you can just google it, LOL.
PS : This was a decent amount, but the amount by itself is not that critical, it is the thought and recognition of the hard work of the devs that counts.
