I apologize for my questions if they were already asked and answered by others before.

1. Can I use my new Stellar public key with zero balance (i.e. does not exist on the network) for the Lumens giveaway?
2. Will never-used-before old Bitcoin addresses be entitled for the Lumens giveaway?
3. Will using any Bitcoin address to sign the displayed message going to compromise the address' security (like the kind of security compromise that you would get by sending Bitcoins to others, thus revealing the private key to the blockchain)?
4. Can more than 1 Bitcoin address be used to sign for 1 Stellar public key?
1. yes
2 yes, but if there is no bitcoin on this address, you d'ont earn any xlm
3 there is no interraction (the, no risk) beetween the sign of a message with your key and the security of your btcs
4 yes, of course : all the puclics keys of the bitcoin blockchain (balance different than 0) are valid

How about amount BTC(poloniex), which will be loaned or in buy orders, Does the amount btc should be available in balance?
It should be the same principle as mentioned here. So, what's on loan won't be counted, only what's on the balance. If you have a certain response from Poloniex, let us know. I hesitate to open any tickets as the response comes in weeks, but if someone has an response from them about the process, please let us know.
Only your own btc are accepting.
And Poloniex can keep some xlm for him.

The best is to have your btc in your own wallet : you're the only to have your private key and you can have all your XLM directly.

In OP, we can read, about the free distribution :

Quote
50B XLM: to be given in small increments to as many people as possible.
How can I participate to this free distribution (in addition to the 19B XLMs distribution reserved for Bitcoins holders) ?

Is it official / certain that Bittrex will not participate in the airdrop?

In stellar giveaway page nothing wrote about Bittrex yet only 3 days left. So chances are really very low.

It will be good if Bittrex participate but till now nothing from there.

i think bittrex will not on the list of exchange for this giveaway
why not you try to move your bitcoin to poloniex if you want join the giveaway

Not happy with Poloniex security. Someone login my account there. I was lucky I did not had any btc there.

Seems it's on you without any 2FA...

BTC price is too high right now to buy and participate into this lumens distribution, but if you XRP stash dating year 2014 then you might have a chance in getting lumens.

indeed you're so lucky, do you not set up the 2fa on your poloniex account?

Actually it was old account that time 2FA was not applicable. But password was too strong still not sure how someone hacked it. I got mail from poloniex that someone login my acc from European IP. Then I login and changed the pwd and activated 2FA. But have still doubt that's why not thinking to use poloniex.

Will try giveaway with individual wallet.

Sorry for that stupid question: What is my Stellar ID and where do i get it ??

When you generate a Stellar wallet it will automatically provide a Stellar ID. The easiest way this time to avoid more confirmations and checkings is to just stand by our Bitcoin deposits at participating exchanges like Kraken and Poloniex.

With absolutely zero support/response from the Stellar team, that may confirm my suspicion that the Lumens giveaway is only to keep track of who owns how many Bitcoins at which addresses.
If they are not responsive in answering forum questions, they will be far less responsive if there is any problem with the giveaway, like receiving no Lumens despite following all the steps correctly.
Should I reveal my Bitcoin ownership to get some "donation/charity"? You guys can keep your Lumens.

Anyone using a participating exchange is not giving the Lumen team any identifying info. And many of us will trade out of bitcoin in full or in part soon after the airdrop ends, so the value of such info is limited. There have been many airdrops by many coins, and there are clear benefits to doing so (catching the attention of the "early adopter" bitcoin crowd). So I doubt that seeking personal info was relevant to their airdrop plan.

More likely they simply don't have anyone minding forums for questions. Did you try the r/Stellar subreddit?
