Life failures Stealthcoin, Ark coin and Safemoon
Is it true that XST does not have a working POSA and that HONDO thinks having stealth addresses is equal to POSA?

What's "posa"? Proof of stake anonymous?
yes, what is posa?
what's the different between stealthaddresses and stealthsend? i want to learn more about stealthsend

I just woke up. Am I correct here? Stealth addresses are open sourced code that has been fully credited and isn't Stealth send as a whole, which is the major component that is still coming later in November, yes?

I don't see the big deal here. Shadowcoin people should be happy. The code is open sourced and credited. This is a validation of a component in their coin. Not sure why they're in here being pissy. Our dev give's other coins tech. Hondo has openly been very pro collaboration. There is no ego in this coin and I consider that a strength. It's a community project that stretches beyond the walls of just one coin.

They decided to come by and help Bobsurplus by fudding this coin so he can get back in. They hate him so much, but play into his hands with such ease.

He bought few minutes ago with that 8 btc wall, people are so stupid and predictable, thank god for them, is the way to make money.

All of this attention only highlights how strong XST and Hondo are. People are complaining about use of open source code in a release that isn't even in the XST roadmap.

Check the roadmap for Hondo innovation.

I can see why they are upset. They can't win. XST has Hondo. Stealthcoin plus Stealthsend. 2 coins in one. Enough said.

Collaboration is indeed going to be the biggest obstacle to the success of anon currency and bitcoin as a whole.  While we do have a few sharp shooters, it takes more than one to win a war.

And anonymous currency is a war.

Peoples' lives are stake here.  If encryption fails at a critical time, people could die, funds forfeited, and who knows what else.  With the constant mongering of bureaucratic powers attempting to contain and subvert people, stuff like anonymous currency is truly the last bastion of liberty.

I have been thrilled to see Hondo and argakiig in collaboration, and this recent addition of Shadow to Stealth's tech retinue.  As you can clearly see from the enhancement to anonymity from these times the devs work together, collaboration makes us stronger.

As the technology improves in various directions we need to encourage our devs to high-five each other and build productive relationships.  After all, for all the people chanting moonbound and money, if our coins become significant enough they will attract attention from the same oppressive regimes that they are built to combat.

It is a daunting task to expect one coder to be able to withstand the attacks of governments employing thousands.  But with collaboration, we are like a Hydra that grows more heads every time one is removed.

I liken our devs not just to computer programmers, but in the face of such ubiquitous breaches of personal liberties in the modern world, our devs are freedom fighters.  They are defending us.  And we need them to work together.

StealthCoin 1.3.0.0 With Stealth Addresses and LevelDB

This release of StealthCoin adds StealthAddresses to perfectly hide receivers in a transaction. StealthAddresses are a type of cryptographic block chain obfuscation where innumerable destination addresses can be created from each public receiving address. The destination addresses can not be linked to each other or to the public receiving address. StealthAddresses produce lightweight transactions, requiring no more storage overhead than standard StealthCoin transactions. Moreover, StealthAddresses are compatible with Proof-of-Stake.

StealthAddresses necessitate a new kind of transaction in the block chain, which all clients on the network must recognize. For this reason, StealthAddresses will not go into effect for StealthCoin until 11:00 PM October 8, 2014 MST. They are, however, fully incorporated into the wallet with release 1.3.0.0.

This release also adds support for leveldb, a super-fast database back-end. Because the leveldb database structure is different from the previous database backend (BSD), an upgrade will require re-syncing the block chain. To make this process easier, links to OS X and Linux/Windows leveldb databases are below. These files may be downloaded and unpacked into your existing application data folder, after removal of the existing database files. Instructions for this process are forthcoming.

Finally, the Tor backend has been updated to the latest version 0.2.5.8-rc, which is a release candidate version. This update should bring minor stability, performance, and security improvements.

Links for the data files, Mac, Linux, and Windows Qt wallets are below. Daemon builds will be made available soon. The github repository will also be updated within an hour. This post, the OP, and the website (https://www.stealth-coin.com/) will be updated as new files are made available.
