That's essentially what we develop on and have already have a VM for it.
Can you try running from the command line?
Just navigate to the unzipped archive in a terminal and issue this:

./Stealth\ Qt
Then post your output.
In the terminal, I navigated to the folder where the contents of the zip file were unzipped, labelled 'Stealth-Qt-1.2.0.1-Linux$' - I typed:

./Stealth\ Qt
Terminal returned:
Code:
./Stealth Qt: error while loading shared libraries: libqrencode.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
'libqrencode.so.3' is definitely in the folder.
Am I being a moron? It's perfectly possible.
apt install libqrencode3
Great. I had to install two other files this way, but this worked, thanks. Wallet synchronising now.

Actually, I have to correct myself a bit here. 24 hours is a generous estimate. It is more likely that it will happen in 12-15 hours. The volume is getting out of control and all the major groups are exiting the coin.

Qt wallets are hard to build because they require exact build environments, so it's easier simply to use the download.
I see. Thanks for the link. I've downloaded it, but it doesn't run. I'm on the latest stable build of Linux (14.04), 64-bit. Are you running Red Hat? If you can let us know exactly which distribution you are running (Debian, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.), we'll set up a virtual machine for that system and make sure it runs on it.
