CommunityCoin (ticker tag COMM) is a CryptoCurrency designed from the outset to be intially distributed by a selected community of experienced Crypto users, marketers and developers .
The network and transactions are maintained by Proof of Stake, making it energy efficient and incentivizing holders to keep increasing numbers of nodes active.
The initial distribution was limited to a maximum of some 1 Billion Coins, of which around 800 million will remain extant after April 2014. FROM CRYPTSY... since there is another coin called CommCoin, you want say something that supports your reasoning? Lots of variables but it seems strange that you could not generate another worthy name with the same premise and ambition _hopefully sustainability.
we can start a poll if the (yet small) community wants that. we wanted to call it comcoin. it has a lot of meaning for us.

our coin is called ComCoin. this is the name. no shortform or something. just "COMCOIN". the shortcode is: "CC". so this should be clear.
and COMCOIN can stand for many things. not only community, but also communication. for example the era we are living in is a post.dot."com" era. there are many thoughts/ideas we are associating with this name.
and you can trust us. once this coin is launched there will be no confusings. CC will be very clear to differenciate from other projects.
