Whats the command to check if you're actually ming ? My CPU is at 100%, I have a few transactions listed but no coins yet.
is there a way to make the hashpersec steady? mine flucuates between 0-120k

I think the real hashpersec himself is not steady... Due to very low difficulty and variable workcharge...

Difficulty is going hig... I've mined nothing since 1 hour with my 3930k OC @4'500Mhz

as for your minerd use the rcpport ... you are trying rpcallowip = 127.0.0.1 which your minerd is trying to connect so use that port

Read the thread, the whole scam is that you can't mine this coin atm with anything but the client itself.
By the way, what's the current block count?

well technically if what the OP said in the specs holds true... it would take some time before the coin can be mined with GPUs ... which makes it feasible for a lot with low end GPUs

CPU-like version of NovaCoin... I like this. If difficulty will grow slowly, there will be 500-600k coins at the end of this month.
There have been 9000 blocks mined already, at 80 coins per block thats 720K mined already in the last few hours.

But I agree, srartup difficulty is ridiculously low. It should be 100 times higher at least.
Tried both yacoin-qt and minerd. Propably a connection problem behind the operator NAT.
