Soon, work with cryptocurrencies will become available to Mastercard owners, according to CNBC, Mastercard will soon announce support for cryptocurrencies in its network.
Banks and merchants will be able to integrate cryptocurrencies into their products. We are talking about bitcoin wallets, credit and debit cards for accruals in cryptocurrencies, as well as loyalty programs, points in which can be converted into digital assets.

Sherry Haymond, Mastercard's executive vice president for digital partnerships, said the initiative would allow banks to compete with cryptocurrency exchanges.
The Bakkt platform will become a partner of the payment network.

Anonymous cards are useful to convert BTC to anonymous FIAT.
But i would convert just a low amount, like $100-$500,  then i spend it and then i load another small amount, and so on.

If the card gets blocked, i lose little money.

I don't get why many of you need to load thousands of $ in those cards ??
Please explain your use case

Maybe you withdrew your funds to the card from an exchange when Bitcoin price was crashing?
But why didn't you just trade the BTC for a stablecoin? Especially a decentralized one like DAI ( in that your USDT/USDC funds may get freezed because they are centralized).

And you would keep the money in DAI, then whenever you need to spend them, you convert a few hundreds to anonymous FIAT on a PLN card.

I don't think this offer is still available... seems to be a post from 2012

Although this offer isn't active anymore, there are some others online, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... People lost their fortune buying this cards, putting money on it, so beware.

Why would you want to use cards where paid funds getting stuck and therefore are lost!?!?
If you want to loose money just pick a shady seller on this forum or even easier donate to me mate

Totally agree...very unsafe to buy these kind of cards

Used those cards, but they have also weak side - these cards can be blocked with all funds on them. All funds comming from Poland are checked by all banks because of criminal situation in Poland. In other countries card can be blocked already after first transaction and it doesn't matter - have you made withdraw from ATM or bought a chocolate bar... In such situation You loose Your money permanently. I have lost approx. 7k GBP...

P.S. This is good way to get funds from btc to cash anonymously, but first - order 1 card and check, will it be blocked or not. This post is just for safeness of Your money.

Same happened to me!

you aren't gonna get an anon card with no risk! There is no alternative.

I agree but that should be obvious from the beginning for everyone.

All you can do is minimize the risk. Load and cash-out right away.

There are better alternatives but none is risk free and cost more money.

NO i dont have an alternative. In fact i too was looking into anon cards and did some looking around to find out what the deal was.

I spoke to a few people who hang out on shenanigans st formerly known as the darkweb and they shared some of their experiences and i also spoke to a guy who sold the cards for 3 years .. It wasnt the same guys on here but its a rinse and repeat operation of the same structure with maybe a different bank. I wont go into detail but its kind of obvious .. you are taking the chance that has no contingency what so ever! You fill up those cards with money from an exchange or otherwise and you have absolutely no recourse when the cards get locked and you lost funds! Whats really ****** is that people are getting a bunch of these cards! Now imagine you just bought 5-10 of these cards and emptied your exchange account into them! You think 1 gets shut off!?? The whole batch goes when it goes bad!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z9Jwp2x86o

Do you see the op trying to convince you guys otherwise? The risk is inherent! Maybe just not so obvious if you have blinders on!

If you understand that there is a chance you will loose all funds! knock your self out..

Outside of that, unless you plan on taking a trip to the woodworks where its really cold and then prove you have residency there.. you aren't gonna get an anon card with no risk! There is no alternative.

I hope that clears it up!

No its not solved! He would have came back and said "thanks i got my funds out"

But that didnt happen! There is an inherent risk with these cards..

The risk is that these cards might actually lock you out..  With your funds in it!

Lets see how does that work.

You buy a card and start putting funds in it and it just so happens to be that the batch of cards you bought from is also being sold to some people who are committing fraud or some kind of other criminal activity.

Then when people start going after the people committing fraud they trace to down to a batch of these cards of which you are included in. Since you are part of the batch they just close all the cards and keep your money.

Clearly they are waiting for you to come in and contest the matter.. ( laughs )

You can kiss your funds goodbye!

Can I infer that your reply implicitly indicates that you have a better alternative?

I have four cards and now one of them wont work, it's telling me at every ATM "Transaction cannot be completed"

I have the four registered together under one account at WBK's website so I dont see why one is not working while the others are okay.

Anyone else have this issue?

Is this solved?
