just take a look here guys :

i've added 24 % import tax, so price went up to 1800$ (it's my import tax in my country),i rated the energy costs at 0.1$ which is still pretty low ( in my country it's at 0.17 $, and a diff increase of only 10 % ( let's be realistic, will be much higher)
results : spend a total of 4.11 BTC and after 279 days you will still be minus 1.61 BTC

100 days ROI ? add 20-25 % import tax, a pretty optimistic only 15 % diff increase and you will ROI not even in 1000 days

With BTC being so low... $1500 is a bit much.  about 100 day ROI if your lucky.  I'll stick with my S3s  Grin

This looks very close to the rendering and they have built there entire mining farm using these.

Typical... Mine using your own hardware for months, then when the ROI is bad dump the overflow inventory on the consumers.

Fairly certain that those are all S2

they tell you they are s-2's in reality the chances are more likely they are a mix of s-2's and s-4's.  Same case same fans.

news?
Bitmain staff went mental and started smoking crack on the job.

In other news, Bitmain staff were seen eating noodles laced with opium. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-29312562

Result: Everyone at Bitmain is tripping and set a crazy ass price for the S4 Sad

I suspect they will use the same chassis that the S2 was in… No reason to reinvent the wheel, it would have added to their design costs..

Crap, I so wanted so start mining with a s4... Sad seems there is no hardware that makes sense now Sad

I think the vendors got together and decided at this point it was best to push the small guys out so that they could develop their cloud mining operations .

ANTMINER S4 -B1 Price:      1450 USD  2TH/s. is  not bad at all.  At the beginning of October
For comparison
SpondooliesTech SP20 price and shipping cost. $1,190.00+$160 (EU) +$119 (US) second half of October and no PSU  1,7TH/s

I'll buy  S4.  I sold half of my  antminers S2 for 1.5  BTC a piece.

So I send my coin out in 1 hour. >>>>>>>>>>>>  not yet possible but optimistic
it comes in 5 days>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>  not yet possible but optimistic
Net work is rock steady at 10% diff for nex year>>> maybe?
coins jump up from current 430 to 450 usd>>>>>> maybe?
uses .45 watts a gh >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> maybe ?
it continues working trouble free from day one>>>> maybe?
10 cents a K-WATT FOR POWER>>>>>>>>>>>>> some of us can do this or better

all of the above happen and you lose what!!!  that is correct your loss is about 300 bucks.
my numbers are optimistic .

So the above price of 1450 means you need power under 6 cents  to stand a shot

You are too optimistic Smiley
I like your assumptions especially that 10% Bitcoin Diff. increase.

That price is completely crack-headed, BitMain. What the hell are you smoking over there?

I wish they had...

Power draw please...

1.357 BTC coupons please!

Also, did anyone else notice that the login page is no-longer the wonky hand-built Captcha login, but an actual "passport.bitmain.com" login now, with a broken SSL cert? Is this part of why it was down, or some part of hashnet integration? I've never used hashnet, so I'm unfamiliar with what it'd look like.
