I am told this price 165$ per hash pcb with the Damaged board + shipping, I might Have bought it for 165 then they slip in the 15 dollars shipping it is in the US will be coming from them in the US to me in the US. I'M also told it was 25 off but when i was gonna buy it back in June 13 it was 15 off sigh shipping included in the 150 price with the damaged board.

I hate to say this what happening with them , is greed really getting that bad with them . I mean I can see buying a new one at the price now but jacking up the price for parts is a bit much imo . sigh .

Now I am really worried about how much the s7 is going to cost. how many bad ones will be sold in batch one ,will they be used all my S5 i bought direct, not one was used.

they are probably running out and not producing anymore..
so they have to take boards off of working s5s.. this would make them worth more as they potentially lose a sale.

should i care sorry not a being ass here I don't like how the whole thing went down sense they sent me a email not 3 days ago asking to buy one i said I would this week, there was no mention of a price increase
for parts. I am willing to pay the 165 for one broad drop the shipping, i think that's fair enough

and when they finally sell out all the S5 that are left for S7 the price will drop a lot and I'm also willing to bet any parts left they will sell locally and get ride of it all and still make a profit .

Yes. I believe Bitmain's price manipulation was a contributing factor that resulted in SPTech selling their SP20's at a loss.

... I was in part the one deciding prices for the S5, it tracked the SP20 and didn't lead it. Every price decrease was initiated by Spondoolies as they wanted to sell out fast rather than for a sensible price. They also appeared to have 100s and 100s and 100s in stock at one time which isn't compatible with their no self mining model.

Hard to believe yes... but SP was wanting to jump into next gen. I don't think they wanted to do like Avalon on 4.1 and slowly sell out. They were ready to get out of home consumer market.

It's interesting to say the least. The good thing is old gear has kept price up with this.

It's been a good time for used S5's, SP20, Avalon 4.1's, etc on holding price. That with low difficulty rise with summer. Until something changes it will be interesting to watch miner prices.

I never asked him the price. But it was a quality miner. Full metal case just really a good quality build.

I find it sad but I think the high quality build is what partially caused them to lose money. I they would have thrown it in plastic it's hard to tell how much they would have saved.
