Hmm maybe my ant is a little tired of mining? First days of the competition always staying in the first ranks and now even with increased speed?

The solar driven antrouter reminds me of solar sails idea where sunlight can gently propel a spacecraft through space. Who knows though, i wont get too cocky until the end of the round

I am lucky today, lucky shares from my ant, plus solved two blocks of litecoin, although I was pooled, I solved them at over 200% diff in the same day with my KNC titan. Should have soloed

Yes, the solar driven Ant seems to be not the worst of all
.Just out of curiosity...do any of you use this as a router? Cause this feels like a bunch of people sitting around watching slugs race.
I would use it as router too, but I have a good and stable WIFI/Router infrastructure , so there is finally no need for it....And watching the slugs race is lots of fun enough I think

I use mine as a phone charger thats always plugged in, and a wifi to ethernet which my KNC titan is plugged into. But if people want to watch slugs race, thats part of the fun : - )

My first little Antrunner (andymanone 1), goes "green" since three days
I´ve finished a little "Solar powered only" sideproject, so my little ant runs now w/o any powersupply,
only driven by sun and battery backup
What I´ve taken for it:
- a inexpensive 18 Volt / 100 Watts Poly-Solarpanel (adjust it on my balcony)
- a solar charger / controller
- a 12 Volt car battery
- a Low-Power 12Volt to 220Volt Stepup-Converter (so there was no R1 modding neccessary, the Antrouter can easy "at is is" plugged in
Thats all

and in reply to the posts above, every single one of those shares and quantity depends on miner luck but also every single share submitted, could or couldn't solve blocks.

Also what would be nice would be some sort of leader board with who was in the top 3 places on each of the historic rounds.
Another thought is as there is a lot of similarity between the R1 & the Compac, might is be sensible to have a single discussion / help / general chit-chat thread as opposed to two? Not something I feel strongly about, but what do others think?
Another "thought" is might we just combine the two runs into one?
