possible send setting for monero how minning 1800 h/s

i use blockchain driver and mine -minexmr - average 800 h/s but on my pc i see 920 h/s Huh

i use xmr-stak-amd64

please help me

You need to set up 2 mining threads.

Each time you log into Windows 10, you need to activate HBCC, in Global Setting Page. Disable it when shutting down the PC, to keep track of it.

You need to minus 13%-15% of the mining calculators, when mining Monero - it very inefficient to mine with GPUs.

Done some testing on share find rates: GPU versus CPU and it was averaging 15% below reported hashrate when compared to a CPU.

Has anyone managed to install the beta blockchain drivers on Windows 7 64-bit? My motherboard throws an atikmdag.sys BSOD error in Windows 10 no matter what I do (it's an older motherboard which doesn't play nice with the Vega in Windows 10) but in Windows 7 I have managed to get 17.9.2 to install and work. The beta blockchain drivers have been a train wreck in Windows 7 though - same atikmdag.sys issue.

Really don't want to have to upgrade CPU, motherboard and RAM just to install these drivers...
I had similar problems and answer is no. With old motherboard you will stick with win7 and non-blockchain drivers (but you can get nice performance dual-mining).
For blockchain drivers to work you need win10 and UEFI motherboard.

Ok thanks. Any suggestions on what I should be dual mining while I look for a new CPU, motherboard and RAM? ETH+Sia?
What to choose dual-mining you will see by your own when you see speed and put it to whattomine.
Bigger problem is the fact that you will also need SoftPowerPlay mod to run it fast and energy efficient.
Card behavior with different wattman and powerplay settings is depending on driver version.
But you can find needed information here in the thread or on reddit.

Good mod for 44.1 ETH @ 150watt and 1800 XMR @ 100watt
But doesn't work for dual-mining, to low voltage set by driver to be stable

my mod is slightly different resulting in stable operations in all mining cases with more speed and more power consumption.

Wonder if my cough cough comment earlier helped Wink

I'm switching over to XMR next week and will fiddle around with my .reg. Will let y'all know my results. Powerplaytables have been fun to play with.

In mod above he changes only gpu clocks for power states.
I changed only voltages for power states keeping clocks original (except P6-P7 that you can change).
When I tried to change both clocks and voltages in P3-P5 all things were screwed up ))

Funny that when xmr-mining you can't even run gpu-z to show your clocks and voltage because if you run gpu-z xmr speed falls to 1500-1600 ))

I have the opposite situation, without Gpu-z my hashrate drops from 1850 to 1700, with gpu-z hashrate is stable all the time 1850 h/s.

Update: It seems I was wrong. It works for me in dual eth+lbc mode, 43mhs eth + 180mhs lbry, just lowered the -dcri ... 210watt
Update2: Tested eth+dcr: 43eth+2000dcr

I want to ask something about configuration of XMR Stak, as I don't want to do something wrong.

I have 6x RX Vega 64 rig.

So far, I installed the XMR STAK AMD and its hashing (with 17.8.2 Driver, cards are 1000/1100 at -24 power, except one that its 1100/1035 at -10 power - this was very stable for ETH).

Now this thing is running good - I am getting 850-900H/s ea. total around 5200 H/s with all cards under 50C, some under 40C, and total power draw - around 750W.

This is with the default configuration:

 "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false

From what I've read in earlier post, I have to create second thread for each card. Basicly, double each line, and make total thread number 12. Right ?
Is that safe to do without blockchain driver, and with only 4GB ram?

And what is the best result one can expect without touching the HBCC, as I currently do not have 16 GB Ram, but want to see how that works before investing additional 150$ on that rig.

P.S. What pool do you recommend?
I started mining in moneropool.com

Pending Balance: 0.000000000000 XMR
 Total Paid: 0.000000000000 XMR
Last Share Submitted: less than a minute ago
Hash Rate: 8.14 KH/sec
Total Hashes Submitted: 14725000

But for around 1 hour, I am getting nothing. No pending balance at all. That normal?

Strange, I think I can understand the words in the text above but can't catch the meaning ... maybe cause English is not native for me ...

Too many ifs, buts and maybes to my statements instead of stating absolute definites.   My apologies Cheesy

I cant get 32mh for 130 watts again today, its like black magic and I dont know why.  More like 29 now.    Instead I have got  27+ MH for 109 watts which I think might be equally as good but I'd prefer the 32mh version

Wattman voltage either side is 1000 and 900.   I suggest to keep GPU temperature below 70 as HBM and hot spot can be 20c above that and you will get heat throttle  [stock cooling like this requires good ambient/case airflow]

Alright actual question here.  Might be worth another thread.

I restarted my rig.  4/6 Vega 64's are hashing at 1900+ still.  2 are not.  No matter what I do with the HBCC slider for those cards, enable, disable, I cannot get the hash rate back.  The card is otherwise clocked correctly, I get the same ETH hash rate as I would expect.

Any tips?  Full clean re-install of AMD drivers?  What I wouldn't do for some non-flashy software that would let you control these settings.

I confirm this problem. No matter what you do HBCC will enable only 4 first cards.

I think it drivers problem that does not support > 4 VGA yet

Well ... I have strange idea but I think it worth to try.
You know that running 8 gpu nvidia rigs with ccminer can be not very good as you will see ~50% cpu usage with weak cpus like celeron g3900.
And now we have problems with 6 Vega rigs.
So I think it is good to mix 4 nvidia (gtx1080 for example that are best in performance/hashrate ratio on zec and other non-memory algos) and 4 Vega cards in one intel based 8 gpu rig (or even 9 gpu rig (5+4) or more if you have such mb)

Hello everyboby

Is there any guide for noob in programming to compile from github source to windows exe? I need in https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-amd change one file and then compile exe. I tried visual studio, added files to project, but I have got errors during compiling. As you know it is 1% fee for default, to change it I need to edit file in source code and then compile it.

Thank you.

Figure it out yourself if you can't give 15minutes a day to mine for the developer.
