That looks great! Although I was looking for something more plug and play and with an Ethernet port because I don't have wifi reception near the rigs. Why are there no "smart" power strips??

That is two rigs, 4 Vegas each, I meant 8 in total, one with a Corsair RM1000i and the other one with a Corsair RM1000x. Sorry for my bad grammar. I regret not buying two 1000is because you can monitor them through TeamViewer with Corsair link. That is important for me because if softpowerplay doesn't work, 1000watts is not enough for 4 Vegas running at the higher power consumptions. My rigs are 60 miles away from my home due to lower electricity costs and lack of space. It is 700W from the wall with a 93% efficiency which means about 650 watts coming out of the PSU. It is not as efficienct as it can be at the moment (about 1950 H/s for each card) but I had to leave yesterday and had no time to play around.

Otherwise hasrate would be a lot weaker than just a tad low (975h/s). Also 700W seems like a normal consumption for 4 vegas, even a bit high if aiming for 150w per card.

What are you mining with those?

Currently these are the stats for the 6 vega 56 card rig: ETH: 262MH/s @ 1150W, XMR: 10000H/s @ 1100W (probably I can go down to 1000W)

These stats into whattomine --> ETH: $10.25/day, XMR: $11.67/day ($12.01/day @ 1000W) If 6 card HBCC were supported then $13.56/day @ 1000W

Currently I'm staying on ETH, but considering change to XMR

I don't know how you can get 262mh, my cards don't hit 40mh each, most hover around low 30s with default bios/settings. Though i have to profess I haven't had time to tweak much. More concerned about getting more machines up.

Haven't look at XMR, but might explore once I clear my backlog and start tweaking.

I'm more interested if we can migrate out from Windows to Linux as I can't get the nix drivers working after the 4th card, boots into Windows with 8 just fine

Vega 64 bios mod. The best i can get with stock bios is 39MH/s.

Out of interest, how much are people paying for their Vegas? Seems like 56 is $469 and 64 is $569 at the moment through Newegg. Anyone managed to get theirs cheaper?

I'm hoping for a price drop when the 1070TI lands and some custom non-reference cards to bring prices down.

I like vega cards. 1900 hash XMR @ 150w per card. And all stable more than week. 5 miners in total: 4 with gigabyte and 1 with sapphire vega 56 cards.
Instead 9 miners each with 6x RX480 ( in total 54 cards ) there are just 5 miners now ( in total 20 cards ). Power consumption is roughly half, hashrate is just 2,5khash lower.

I had the same issue with hashrate going to 1700 and had to restart the miner. I noticed that was happening while i was running anything else than the miner that had to do with the gpu ( HWinfo, afterburner). What i did was to lower a bit the oc settings and i was just fine..

Yeah lower memory overclock a bit and you should be rock steady. not all chips are made equal so...lower the overclock on all cards or on just the one that is causing problems.

I had similar issue and it was because windows was going into power saving mode.

single Vega FE will do 2150H/s using two x 2016 at 32GB Ram but add more the rate drops. When I had 16GB I got a lower rate so I'm hoping 64GB will get me all 3 at 2150H/s. seems to be proportional to HBCC size which is proportional to system RAM.

Someone a few pages back said, if on windows 10 go to system/ advance system settings/advance/settings and select best performance. By default its set to let windows choose whats best for computer. This is what helped my windows 10 1vega 64air, 1vega 64lc, 8gb ram system 3940hs total.

Guys, I'm still dropping to 1500 per card (two vega 64s with 16GB RAM) after 20-24 hours. Am forced to restart everything to get back to 1900 per card. Can anyone share their insights as to what I might be missing? I have the cards running on a rig I remote into, so no displays attached at all (not even to the onboard video). Maybe I need dummy HDMI dongles? Thanks for any help.

But all kudos to you, I would love to be doing 39 with all my vegas but as said I am in a crunch to get more machines up rather than tweaking for now.

I am a noob ans I get 39mhs on eth. Blockchain drivers is the key for me. If I use normal driver I only get 35mhs.
If you bios mod you will get 43mhs.
Read the whole thread its all in the previous posts.
Xmr is more proiftable anyway. I am nearly 2x more profitable mining xmr with vega 56

After flashing vega 56 ti vega 64 bios you can pump up the HBM clock to 1100MHz and you can get ~43.5MH/s / card ---> 6*43.5=261
