Dollars cannot be considered with bitcoins as dollars have a reputation for ages while bitcoins are just 6 -7 years old. If you say that bitcoins can give you a decent value if you hold for long, what about those who are holding coins for 3 years as they purchased it when the price was $800 or more? Their wait is torturing.

it's not hard to figure that out as 4 years ago the price was peanuts compared to now. no one knows if you buy now and hold your coins for 4 years that you will be guaranteed a profit. the chances of seeing the price go higher as we progress through the years are indeed high, but we can't look that far in the future. i never take things for granted in life. bitcoin is no exception.

I actually bought in some BTC when the price was $400, and already made a ton of profit on it. So I guess the lesson learned is that always buy bitcoin when everyone thinks it's already reached the top.

Not everyone has made profit now around this time with Bitcoin and that is because they already bought it at a high value so they have to wait a longer time until they can earn some profit.
And that would be really bad if they have not the patience to wait for a higher value so they have to wait a longer time and must dont make any mistakes.

There are a lot of people that is still waiting for a better value and that can be perfect because the people who already have Bitcoin can make more money with it. And that should be perfect for them but you never know if that is possible for Bitcoin so you should have to wait and wait.
