If he decides to invest in cryptocurrency, his partner in Apple will be curious and maybe they will follow him. But I think Apple will invest in bitcoin or maybe Apple is already investing in bitcoin secretly and not telling the public about that.

I like to hear about him who has an open mind about something new and wants to be involved in bitcoin because of his personal point. He wants to diversify his portfolio and make money from cryptocurrency.

Sooner or later, we could see Apple launch its own project about cryptocurrency and for their customer as we see that they have a large user who uses their devices.

Who knows if Tim Cook invested in cryptocurrency way before it became mainstream? It would be a great idea for his company (Apple) to integrate crypto into all of its devices. This would help boost mainstream adoption of Blockchain tech at a fast pace. I'd imagine Apple Pay allowing users to buy/sell crypto sometime in the future. If PayPal did it, I don't see why other payment processors can't do it. The more Bitcoin soars in price, the higher the chance of this becoming a reality will be. Let's hope Apple embraces crypto/Blockchain tech, for other companies (like Microsoft and Google) to join the game. Just my thoughts Grin

Apple CEO Tim Cook have invested on cryptocurrency. He has disclosed it in a recorded interview. He mentioned it as part of his diversified portfolio. His investment was from his personal point, and Apple doesn't have any plans of investing/accepting cryptocurrency. This is a big news, and were into discussion around the social media platforms. Majority of the huge company CEO's own crypto. This is a big thing and an indication of growth of cryptocurrency network.

Source : The Verge

This is going to get more and more interesting when other industries make their move into crypto and the users of their tech follow them.
All it takes is a reputable person to get into something and others below him to follow him.
Do you people find this to be more interesting and a big news in the market. I don't think it so, and I find this to be a news that is common. In my view Tim Cook could've invested on cryptocurrency long back itself. Now only he had got an opportunity to reveal to the outer world, as well as there is more legal support for bitcoin than the past.
We dont know if he had invested before this announcement or totally a new thing on which he did jump on to this market which is really a good news that big and popular people had already recognized
its existence.

Sooner or later we would really be seeing CEO's and other billionaires out there would surely make out investment but for sure there are people who did really make out such
step but didnt tend to announce in public.

We do really need these kind of consideration to make adoption even more wider and bigger which would really result into high price increase.

Why do we care about another rich guy who only buys crypto but doesn't use it? As OP says it's just a personal point, nothing to do with Apple investing or planning to make crypto use a part of their company policy.

This is not an indication of crypto growth just an increase of crypto ownership. Not a bad thing but not the same as "mass adoption".

I disagree. Because first of all, he is not just another rich guy investing in crypto, he's a well known rich guy. And even though it has nothing to do with apple, but by the fact that he's acquiring bitcoin or other cryptos out there, announcing it to the public can truly make a huge impact.

And also, maybe in the near future, if ever Apple find some stuffs in crypto that will bring something new and great advantage to their company, they might create a new product with crypto along with it. Because the CEO itself is investing in crypto, he must be into something and not just doing that stuffs for his own interest. There must be a hidden purpose, that is what I think.

I agree Tim Cook is not an ordinary rich man, he is one of the most famous people in the tech world with a pretty good reputation. So with him
investing in crypto and being known to the public, of course the effect is quite large. After all Tim Cook is also Apple CEO, so at least if he feels
the benefits of crypto after he invests in crypto. I believe he will give advice to the Apple company to adopt crypto. Although now he says investing
in crypto is for personal use only and has nothing to do with Apple. But it is very strange if only for personal interest, why would he tell the public
that he started investing in crypto. For me Tim Cook has a specific purpose in doing that, so it will be very interesting to see how the Apple
company moves in the next few months, because my prediction will not be long before the Apple company will soon adopt crypto.

I doubted they are the main reason for this continuous market surge coz if we find out more individuals(not known personalities are also investing), though they only have a small capital however their number is big that could just beat the number of these CEO.

If that's the reason BTC is going up, then it's too simplistic and only a small, insignificant percentage.  The involvement of large companies investing in crypto is the result of the hype that has been going on for a long time.  The trend is always positive so that it gives them a much greater chance of doubling their wealth.

The Bitcoin market is no longer responding to these small hypes. Late in the day, In fact, John Linda realizes that it is better to invest long-term in Bitcoin to avoid money risk due to inflation. As the price of fuel oil is rising worldwide, which could lead to a sharp rise in global inflation.

That's why the value of bitcoin every period is always increasing because many CEO of companies invest their money for the long term and for themselves because they know how the crypto market works especially bitcoin. This is good news that will slowly give positive wind to the crypto market. It is only a matter of time before Bitcoin becomes one of the highest investment assets in the investment market. Tim Cook has made the right choice and maybe this will have a positive impact on the development of blockchain technology at Apple

Nevertheless, this news become influential to others and that could encourage big companies leaders to have their journey in the crypto world. As this Apple company will adopt the system and accept crypto as a mode of payment, the more it gains attention and the more it helps crypto to grow more and be accepted globally.

This is great news because even though Apple is not accepting crypto yet but the fact that their CEO invested in crypto, that's already positive news and there's a possibility that in the near future the company will try to accept crypto guided by the regulation since apple is a big company and they must always be in compliant.

It could be the personal decision of Tim Cook, but he himself understands that the adoption of crypto will help his investment to grow.

So if you know what I'm saying, you'll know what's going to happen.

I am not surprised about this news because
1) Government fails to bring Bitcoin
2) IMF boss advises the government to join the crypto system.
3) Kiyosaki advises people to use crypto as a hedge fund which the pandemic proves him right.
4) Tesla makes more money through their investment in crypto and Elon tweeted when fiat is not profitable only the dumb won't seek an alternative.

I believe almost all the Billionaires, Millionaires and celebrities invested in Bitcoin though they might not invest in it directly but some of them do it through firms like Grayscale and the reason will don't know this is because the company cannot disclose the information of their customers to the public.
That now many people have seen the benefits that crypto provides, so only crypto haters are still rejecting crypto until now. Because if we want to do
research properly, there really is no reason not to invest in crypto. If we talk about Bitcoin, it is very difficult to find other assets that can provide profit
in a pandemic situation like now. And Bitcoin is very successful in providing investors with opportunities to make a lot of money in this pandemic situation.
So famous people like Tim Cook would also be interested in trying to invest in cryptocurrencies, now is the time for everyone to start investing in crypto.
I believe crypto haters these days are people who find it hard to believe in the power of blockchain innovative technology, the existence of currency not managed by the government, and its longetivity. They focus much on these things and it blinds them from seeing the possibilities that crypto introduced.
The second set of people are those that see crypto as a hindrance to their business or income because the IMF boss and Kiyosaki's message about cryptocurrency is enough to make people know that digital currency is the future.

Crypto haters will indeed find it hard to believe the positive things that crypto gives, because they are too focused on the lack of crypto.
This means that crypto haters don't think openly and always think of crypto as something negative. Indeed it is their right to hate crypto,
and there is no compulsion to love crypto. But one day when this crypto hater realized his wrong thinking, then this will only create great
regret for him in the future. There are also crypto haters who see crypto as a rival and a hindrance, as bank officials feel, who think the banking
system will be replaced by crypto. Even though it's a false assumption, crypto provides a solution for everyone to make transactions more
transparent and effective, and Bitcoin was created not to replace fiat but as an alternative to payments other than fiat. So either fiat or Bitcoin
will still co-exist.

this guy is quite undetectable with his crypto investments

it's actually very good if apple hasn't invested in bitcoin because if apple makes an investment and announces it to the public then the price will definitely explode and that's really too fast

Apple will definitely invest in bitcoin, maybe in the next few years

I have a suspicion that people who are fully immersed in technology such as Apple's Tim Cook or Facebook's Zuckerberg and others have already detected Bitcoin on their radar much earlier. It is next to impossible they haven't encountered Bitcoin early on. Many of them must have bought Bitcoin, albeit secretly. Perhaps to avoid stirring up the hornet's nest. Coming out is easier nowadays with Bitcoin more accepted than ever. It would be interesting to know how long this “for a while” of Tim Cook is.

Anyway, Tim Cook is in. There's no reason why the ordinary Juan remains hesitant.

Of course. Most of these tech giants have already invested into Bitcoin within its early days. They kept it in secret in order to stay out of the limelight. Now that Bitcoin is popular, they're starting to get out of the shadows. It's not surprising to see Tim Cook on crypto since he's a tech-savvy person after all. I'd bet Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and other powerful tech entrepreneurs already have their stake on crypto. They're just waiting for the right time to expose their secret in order to gain all of the attention in the mainstream world. It doesn't matter who invests on crypto, as long as it stays decentralized. Who knows what the future will look like after crypto becomes largely adopted by everyday people? Just my thoughts Grin

It's interesting to know, I wonder how many hundreds or thousands of Bitcoin he has tucked away. For people at that level it simply costs pocket change which is quickly replenished from their massive stock holdings that pay dividends on a regular basis. It's definitely true that money breeds more money. Alas for us poorer people at least it gives Bitcoin a boost both publicity wise and by reducing the amount in circulation - as I doubt he will ever empty his Bitcoin wallet. It would be interesting to see how many top CEO's have publicly mentioned owning Bitcoin in a private capacity, or which ones have declared that they are adamantly against it.
Part if reality on where those people who do have the finances will always have the advantage when it comes to situations or opportunities like this and since they do have the money to spent out then they can make out investment freely or without any problems.

What we do have on here is that we do really love to see on how recognition of Bitcoin do gradually able to hear out or reached those people who do have some significant popularity or fame which is really a big plus for having this one.

On upcoming future then there would more of these kind of events and happenings in talks about recognition.

That possibility can indeed happen, depending on Apple's company policies in the future. Cryptocurrency has become very popular and has been recognized by several countries. Tesla led by Elon Musk made big news when it started accepting bitcoins and this caused bitcoin to reach its new ATH.
It is hoped that cryptocurrency will be adopted by many large companies, so that crypto development will be more rapid and become a more revolutionary optional payment in the future
That is certainly hopeful. Small companies, even the other big companies are also watching who's next to adopt crypto. It serves as a mirror to them and I guess, everyone is more excited to hear that more companies will consider this and let the community make use of their crypto as it has been accepted as an alternative payment.

They are known companies that give the influence and the courage for the others. This will surely increase demand on the market knowing that many companies are accepting this. Well, that leads to pumps in the price of crypto as well, especially for Bitcoin.
