But news like this is confirming the fact that there are many important people supporting the field.
I think after a lot of news surrounding this market, in the future there will be many other powerful people standing out to support crypto.
The leading large corporations are responding to the rise of the market, and this is still an opportunity for everyone.

I've seen that news when Cook has admitted he owns bitcoin and ethereum.

I think that whenever there are influential people and known like Cook admitted invested into cryptocurrencies, it's favorable to the market. Speculators that are still learning their ways on crypto can get a signal from him and others.

Let's just look at the positive side of the news and giving the hint, and IMHO, we might see some better news that will involve his company integrated with crypto payments soon.

This comes to the reality that nobody could afford to ignore Bitcoin and even poor individuals are also taking shares from their salary just to invest this. How much more the rich people like him, a CEO of a known and very popular company, that is not surprising.
I guess, he knows best than the majority of the people around. Investing is the best strategy to grow and keep our wealth healthier.
Not only him have that kind of positive insight towards crypto but I guess, those also who have heard about Bitcoin especially at his time that Bitcoin has been proven already as not a scam or Ponzi scheme.
With Tim Cook starts to invest in crypto, probably more people will embrace crypto as its the most powerful investment at this digital age. And thinking that bitcoin could hit more expensive price as months and years go by, then its always a good reason to start investing in it now, and see your investments turning into millions in the coming years. This is only if you are seeing the positive side in bitcoin, but if you are still hesitant on it, make a deep research first before making such move.

Apple CEO Tim Cook have invested on cryptocurrency. He has disclosed it in a recorded interview. He mentioned it as part of his diversified portfolio. His investment was from his personal point, and Apple doesn't have any plans of investing/accepting cryptocurrency. This is a big news, and were into discussion around the social media platforms. Majority of the huge company CEO's own crypto. This is a big thing and an indication of growth of cryptocurrency network.

Why is this a big news? This shouldn't be a big news. We shouldn't make this a big news. All it will do is enable them to manipulate the market at their will. Tim Cook invested in BTC, people will FOMO, price will pump. Tim Cook will dump his coin and say something bad about crypto currencies, FUDs are going to spread, people will start dumping, price will fall. Who made all the profit? Tim Cook. Who will reinvest his profit during the dump? Tim Cook. Who is the fool and lost everything? You.

I am not surprised about this news because
1) Government fails to bring Bitcoin
2) IMF boss advises the government to join the crypto system.
3) Kiyosaki advises people to use crypto as a hedge fund which the pandemic proves him right.
4) Tesla makes more money through their investment in crypto and Elon tweeted when fiat is not profitable only the dumb won't seek an alternative.

I believe almost all the Billionaires, Millionaires and celebrities invested in Bitcoin though they might not invest in it directly but some of them do it through firms like Grayscale and the reason will don't know this is because the company cannot disclose the information of their customers to the public.

That now many people have seen the benefits that crypto provides, so only crypto haters are still rejecting crypto until now. Because if we want to do
research properly, there really is no reason not to invest in crypto. If we talk about Bitcoin, it is very difficult to find other assets that can provide profit
in a pandemic situation like now. And Bitcoin is very successful in providing investors with opportunities to make a lot of money in this pandemic situation.
So famous people like Tim Cook would also be interested in trying to invest in cryptocurrencies, now is the time for everyone to start investing in crypto.

or for some known personalities, they just don't want to disclose to the public that they own some crypto, they are just happy to be silent holders. who knows, some of these wealthy personalities are long time crypto holders and just hiding their assets in crypto somewhere? i think that's already happening.
so with the disclosure of the Apple CEO is not a surprise for me. maybe, he's just waiting for the right time to announce it in public. which, can very well be positive as some who are still hesitant towards crypto may change their stance.

Even if it's an Apple CEO or other company leader, it's a natural thing.
Yep, it is a natural thing. But having them in crypto industry is great news for crypto future. People will more trust in crypto because they assume a top person like Tim Cook won't choose a bad thing for investment. It is like a booster for crypto industry, making all parties be more confident to stay with crypto.

Tim Cook said himself that crypto investments were only made of his personal will and it was clear that Apple had no intention of adopting crypto.
For now, Apple company may have no interest. But we don't know what this company will do in the future. If they view crypto can be a good source for their income and it looks secure enough, they may consider buying crypto at any time. Moreover, Tesla is already investing in crypto, it can be a special motivation for other companies to follow as well.

That it really comes into their mind how crypto changes finances. This guy looks positive that crypto investment is more profitable with less work than running a business. Those who are in known and big companies had certainly had a glimpse what really the status of Bitcoin in the future and that might they found out that it is greatly growing.

Can't be surprising to have this news as I know that some known personalities are just quiet and keeping anonymous.
Well, the fact that I was thinking right now was that perhaps investors are opened their minds for the opportunity because as I have seen and heard recently, individual and institutional investors are now looking forward to bitcoin investment and look at this Apple CEO, he diversified his portfolio into a good one and I think he will not regret once seeing the price was increase and no doubt it will happen since there is a lot of good news that we have on crypto right now.

They are looking forward on it knowing that bitcoin already gain its value and that's what the investor look at it that's why expect that aside from him there will be more institutional investor will came and maybe in future we can completely see the integration of it on their platforms as one of the payment option and this will be more great things to happen on bitcoin since provably we can see this one rise up for more if more demand will come on it in institutional investors side.

Anyone can invest in cryptocurrencies from his personal point of view. Even if it's an Apple CEO or other company leader, it's a natural thing. Tim Cook said himself that crypto investments were only made of his personal will and it was clear that Apple had no intention of adopting crypto.

But even so, when a CEO of today's biggest smartphone starts to get into crypto, of course more and more influential people in the world are starting to get into crypto and this is good news for crypto.

Cryptocurrencies get a lot of support from various world leaders and many ordinary people are starting to get to know crypto and invest in it.

Slowly they all are disclosing their investment and i also heard somewhere that Tim cook revealed about his investment in bitcoin and eth and there is no surprise in that because they always have plans to make early investment and he didn't disclose the amount as they don't want to tax the gains.Majority of big names would be holding these coins and will disclose them with time and till the time they are enjoying their gains and we also don't know in which year they have been part of it.First they opposes it and then they are the ones who invest in them.

This is really good news, because it can bring new heat to Bitcoin. Cook is a well-known person and has many followers, so that more people can know about cryptocurrency. This is the success of cryptocurrency. Hope to see more similar news in the future.

I kinda think that a lot of those types of investors have held BTC fir longer than we think, they just value the privacy of their investments more than shouting from the rooftops. I mean, more and more will start coming out with it, but it would be false to assume that all of them just now got to it. I don't know, just my 2 cents.
I think the same, there are probably more people who are really into Bitcoin. But they won't disclose it to the public. Most government officials also invest secretly into Crypto. However, Tim Cook surely took a good step by Investing in Crypto.

And all of a sudden, more big names are starting to acknowledge and embrace Bitcoin. Although that cryptocurrencies can’t please everybody like China, massive adoption can’t be stopped no matter how slow or fast it will be.
Bitcoin have a bright future, and those who don't invest now might end up regretting. Just like those who knew about Bitcoin 10 years ago, but didn't invest because they literally thought it was worthless. Am not surprised seeing big names partaking in Crypto Investment. While, Bitcoin can't definitely please everyone, some people won't ever like it. But that will not Bitcoin from growing.

I'm not sure that investing at ATH is 'playing safe'. It's just a FOMO train, and I don't think Bitcoin can keep going without ever crashing. Once it does, these newcomers that poured so much money at such a high price point will be very disappointed and probably lose a lot because of engaging in panic selling and not willing to wait for what can be years before the next bull market. Maybe he invested a while ago, and then it's a different story, but buying when the price is at its highest is never safe. I hope Bitcoin doesn't crash, and they (people like Tim Cook) don't start talking trash and lobbying anti-crypto legislation because of the bad timing of the investment.

I am very confident that Tim Cook did not buy at an all-time high. Guys like this buy bitcoin in the dark to avoid stirring up issues with their counterparties.

I would not be surprised at all that he has been holding for quite some time. Maybe not sub 1k lengths, but enough to be confident in an investment.

Looking at this? seems like Tim is trying to play safe and wondering what would be the community reaction to this one and if there is a good outcome then maybe Apple Itself will enter crypto as well.

He might be New in investing but he is not new in this world, Tim is a Tech person and understand blockchain deeper than us so I'm sure he knew the consequences of Investing in Hyping market and in dumping .

meaning he knew that the growth will continue (according to His assessment of course)

so in valuable thoughts he invested because he trusted the market with good outcome these days or maybe he is aiming for years of Holding so he care nothing if investing in pumping or dumping market.

To be honest I'm not surprised that Apple's CEO admits to investing in crypto personally, because even Elon Musk can invest in crypto, surely other
big company CEOs will follow too. Maybe now some big company CEOs have invested in crypto but secretly, or even many CEOs of large companies
are interested in crypto after seeing the very rapid increase in the price of Bitcoin. Whatever the reason, more and more people are investing in crypto
this is good news, because crypto is getting more and more people's trust. I understand Tim Cook's statement that he is investing in crypto doesn't
mean Apple will buy crypto either. But I'm sure that sooner or later Apple will follow in Tesla's footsteps, I imagine if Apple suddenly officially said it
would adopt Bitcoin, surely the price of Bitcoin will rise very high, I hope my wish can come true.

Was also saw an apple job vacancy that they need a blockchain developers, i think apple started to realize that bitcoin and cryptocurrency will have a special place in the future, so as a big giant tech company they have to prepare to reasearch more about cryptocurrency and create something goodi n the future.
These made us more confident with cryptocurrency future and undoubtly invest more on crypto.
