Hello. i dont like airdrops were you have to download a wallet (even if virustotal says its okay idont do that). so that leaves only erc20 tokens, i did some airdrops (at the ebtc,exmr.. madness) but got nothing of value. so i dont do them any more. isnt worth the risk

Cheers

well honestly to say that now a day in the world of internet and in the world of cryto currency there is many fraud thing happening everyday. An airdrop is much profitable if the purpose behind it stay positive.most of the aidrop were giving to make bigger and stronger of the community behind the coin.so it is always profitable if its not give to the purpose of fruadulant 😉

Not all are Airdrops profitable, but why not try? Also it is necessary to carefully read the conditions.

I think it can be profitable because of their value became higher. some airdrops get profits to such a higher extent.
maybe for one or two airdrop there is potentially has an edge. it is a great project for me. thanks.

New members are very lucky that free tokens are available now for them to claim. It looks easy because you will just comply to their conditions upon joining but based from my experience it is not that easy since there are many available airdrops and many people are trying to participate in all of it, sometimes some spots aren't available. Most of the airdrops now requires twitter account and telegram account and it which was a very smart move because it limits the number of participants unlike when gmail account and bitcointalk account are the requirements. I admit not all token that I have now is profitable since most of them are not yet on an exchanger and is not available for trading but I have also received some that gives good earnings.

It depends of the Airdropped coin. Sometimes they are profitable sometimes they are not - see at eBTC or Ethereum Blue now BLUE Bitcoin Red

Not all airdrops are profitable. I am doing airdrops but I make my careful research before participating because there are so many scams, and some projects don't deserve even your time and effort because their tokens are worthless.

It seems to me profitable to read the airdrops and keep them from 3 months and then sell if there is something ...
I think this is the most profitable strategy, is not it?

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?
Lately I never participate in airdrop because of my pride, I want to earn money using my hardworking like trading and joining different campaign. And when the day I consumed all my money I try to join because nothing will lose just sign up and you can get money, it is sometimes profitable in terms of emergency. People are lucky that such opportunity exists and eventhough some airdrops are suspicious it is still good to try.

I get lot of airdrop coin
EtherDoge, BRAT RED, Peculium, DimonCoin, Proxy Token, Ethereum Trust Fund, ETHEREUMDIAMOND, eGBP Coin, ETHPalace, Ethereum Diamond, ..................
But all airdrop token are not valuable.
Yet airdrop is better because some airdrop are give me huge profits.

Most airdrop coins are garbage. They just pump then dump. But if you're lucky and got the right airdrop coin. It can give you alot of $$$. Just by signing up, you get a lot of money if you're lucky.
Try to avoid aidrops that require fees. Many of them ended up a scam

i've done probably 40 of the airdrop tokens where you just signup and get the tokens from the devs... i think i've made 0.02 ETH from the airdrops - so basically a complete waste of time

Airdrops give free tokens, ultimately you can save your tokens and trade them for other currencies, so i guess they are profitable.

Maybe it's profitable, but you need to understand that not all tokens will bring you a good profit. Some will remain unnecessary garbage. You just waste your time in vain

Some airdrops are very good if you can get in on time. A buddy of mine gets deep onion airdrops every week. You get free coins. So, definitely profitable. You just need to spend some time on bitcointalk.

I've yet to get a true 'out of nothing' airdrop that meant anything... supply and demand.  Airdrops lead to tons of supply and little demand since everyone got some.  But... yes my DeepOnion signature* campaign airdrop has been massive.  I haven't sold anything yet but as of this writing, if I were to cash out I could sell my DeepOnion for $37,000.  In fact, it's the single most valuable hold now, just ahead of Bitcoin.  I'm not cashing out because I believe DeepOnion will go much higher than $3 when the roadmap is complete.

*what I mean by signature is that the airdrop campaign started off with a BCT posting requirement, but has shifted slightly away from that.

Maybe airdrops were profitable, but today it's just a waste of time. People are trying to get some free coins, but these coins have no value at all.

Today there are lot of scams airdrops, but also there are big and profitable airdrops like REBL and ETHgas (about 20$ each) and they have a roadmap and future pumps, you need to analyze drops

Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

I participated in Stellar airdrop in 2014, it was 14$ back then. Sold 2 months ago for about 200$, if I'm not mistaken.

So yes, can be sort of profitable, but you need to hodl.
