Well, I am not sure about altcoins because there are too many of them and you cannot be sure about chances of the success for any of it.
I think they have different platform so it's not necessarily to compared with both side because we can still involve in both coins which is there are potentials in growing our money by earning profits.

I think now it is better not to invest in altcoins, probably just better to keep bitcoin and wait for the market to turn around and then buy
And why do you think so? I also think that it is better now to start investing in Altcoins because many projects today have dropped by about 10 times to 20 times relative to peak prices in 2017.

If you think in terms of the fact that now a very large number of projects are very cheap compared to BTC, then perhaps this seems to be true, but for long-term projects, I think the situation is the opposite.

I don't think altcoin is better than bitcoin right now, have you seen a lot of project token price drop harder than bitcoin and it's only a matter of time before they abandon the project. Bitcoin is the safest bet here as it's the face of crypto, if you still want to hold alt then better find something that has a lot of activity in the github to ensure that it won't be abandoned. I do agree. In terms og long term duration, bitcoin is still the safest option. It may be dropping right now but it will most probably recover soon. It has happened in the past already and volatility is part of its characteristic. Some altcoins may do relatively well but determining which is hard as many altcoins, frauds one to be included, are growing in number.
for now basically all same at the moment. both BTC and altcoin move at the same pace.

Altcoins are in a way better than bitcoins in terms of variety in projects. Tron, Stellar, Paragon are few examples of such altcoins that will yield more than btc in future. Bitcoin will always come first. It's not about technology, but about investor confidence. The more bitcoins are in the hands of investors, the better for Bitcoin and for its price.
For me now the best coin is probably bitcoin due to the fact that it does not fall much unlike altcoins and will recover faster
I think Ethereum for example now take much more attractive than bitcoin, due to the fact that Ethereum can grow very much and give earn
I think for now more reliable bitcoin than other altcoins. very possible that alot altcoins will die, but bitcoin as was so will be. I think market will rise soon and bitcoin too.
The continuous crash of BTC might let you look like that Altcoins are now running the turf around here but its actually not true, but as for now, I probably think that some altcoins are going up and because of this people would buy alts rather than buy BTC with a price rolling down, eventually the price would go back up though, and because of this I will still continue to HODL until the price moves upward.
Bitcoin is still the king of crypto, looking at the current market every penny is looking at the Bitcoin price. I do not think there is a chance that Altcoin will beat Bitcoin.
What I've noticed is that as Bitcoin rises, most coins also rise, and when bitcoin falls, most coins fall with it. So, I can't really say altcoins are better than bitcoin as we speak, but I'm sure there are lots of people who prefer altcoins to bitcoin, including me.
It is in this case that I think that this is true, because it is in such a case as now most of the investors simply do not stand up to the serious onslaught, so I think that the best thing would probably be to not sell anything.
I think it's worth to buy altcoins now,as the price of them, well, just fantastic,I don't remember to do it this fall,actually returned to th time when the cue was 3400 in July 17,but I am sure the growth will be still strong ,so don't despair,we have everything ahead,everything will be fine
Technology does not stand still and most likely a few altcoins can be a real breakthrough and replace bitcoin in the future.But which of them will become the flagship of the crypto industry will remain only to guess. In my opinion, Cardano has such chances.
