I think, why? like the beginning of Monero, before Monero was created there were many altcoins and Monero came to perfect it. Likewise now, bitcoin, ethereum, monero may be the best, but one of the coins will be replaced by a better coin.

The problem is, after a successful public offering, most of these altcoins fails to work according to their roadmap or what was in the Whitepaper and start chasing shadows or some even cease to exist. Owing to this, we now have more altcoins with no value; I think this is the reason why most are useless.
