I had to admit that crypto currencies for me are better. With your explanation about credit card and cash, it's why I like to use crypto's. Even though we do like for cryptocurrencies to be the main thing here but we cant just really let those traditional things behind since its being majorly used on our daily living and as you said there are places on which bitcoin and other coins coins can be used which means we would really still stick up on using fiat currencies thats why i do select on the poll on having both things would be a best choice as of now.

Yes I agree that cryptos now is better than regular currency although their rate is volatile but it gives good benifits to those holders of bitcoins.And also it has the quick transact to make everything payments easy. And if ever this cryptos will use all over the world.All transact will be in order and more convinient.

The cost in recent times has been lower compared to what was witnessed in the past few months which even led to the August 1 saga but I hope we will start reaping the benefit of such very soon. On the other hand, I feel the two should coexist to take care of the needs of the categories of people we have in the society. For example, there are some people who are very conversant with the use of the internet, they wont have to struggle with bitcoin usage while others on the other hand will need Fiat to carry out their normal financial transactions.

As the user stated both has got its own good and bad. So one need to select the one that makes him/her convenient as well provides with a good earning. And reason important cryptocurrency still not get accept from government and company in most country on the world's. So cryptocurrency need improve more ecosystem and prove it can replace regular currency in future.

for me i believed that crypto is so much useful than regular currency im using bitcoin as my daily money which i used to buy goods for my living. there's alot of company whose accepting bitcoin as a payment that's the reason why im glad that they're adapting bitcoin too. bitcoin also makes my money goes to double or triple some times than regular putting money on a bank which does not give you enough profit.

Cryptocurrency has its advantages that regular currencies doesn't. With regards to convenience, regular currency is still better than cryptocurrencies because you can transact easier with it. Also, regular currency is accepted more in the various areas like in retail and the market. Cryptocurrencies have transaction fees, and sometimes the numerous confirmations makes it have a long time to transact.

If cryptocurrencies were to improve and allow its users to transact easily, then it would be better than regular currency.

The last hit from btc-e made me realize we are vulnerable to the countries power and influence, sure the ownwer need to take care its business, and shouldnt support stolen money, but those made me realize we arent soo freedom as we think we are, even bein at crypto world, there are some risks. Fiat i do use to my daily needs, while bitcoin is being used for future purposes.

Crypto currencies are better than regular currencies because they are free from inflation especially bitcoin.More over,they have a tendency of growing with increase in demand for them whereas regular currency just remains the same with no such big difference.Investors in crypto currencies need not gt feared about their investment being devalued as it was earlier done in india by devaluing high value notes.

Your first statement is not correct, bitcoin is not free of inflation, every single day more coins are added to the system by the miners, yes there is a cap of 21 million coins but not all those coins have been mined yet and every time a new coin is mined there is small amount of inflation in bitcoin.

It is better because:

- It is decentralized, I know this is a often used term but it is important! The EU has proposed to prohibit cash at 1.1.2018, I think this won´t get throught but it show´s their intention. More I have visited Ireland some time ago and I payed with a 100€ bill, the cashier (like 40 year old woman) wnated to make a photo because she has never seen a 100€ bill (there are 5/10/20/50/100/200/500 bills, so 100 way not the biggest). They already pay everything with card´s (definitely no surveilance there Wink

). Furthermore in some countries in the EU it is already prohibited to pay certain amounts with cash, correct me if I am wrong but I think in Italy it is illegal to pay something worth more than 3000€ with cash.

- It is like gold and not just "goldbacked" (ha-ha not even by 1%) like fiat.

- fees for international transfers are low and faster compared to banks, I really hope scaling problem of BTC will be fixed nicely to allow micropayments again.

- Fiat belongs to the bank, they may give it to you if they are not bancrupt, if they are your account is frozen and yea. BTC is decentralized and the bank can´t freeze it.

Well that's the downside of bitcoin, but for me since Im into saving and looking for something that can be a source of income, that makes me think btc is more than better than regular currency or better than banks, thoughit still needs a lit of development to use it more often.

not yet for now, but of course in the future. FIAT money using so much resource like wood for the paper money, i believe in the future every government will replace regular currency nowday to digital currency for saving raw materials that very limited because number of demand for making money increasing very significant every year.

May be it would be better but there are some disadvantages which doesn't make it better economically because we will have to pay transaction fee even for little transactions and needs much more devices which is not convenient in underdeveloped countries. Thus we can't say it is better or fiat is better, both have pros and cons.
