Nope, it is the opposite of your point of view. Cryptocurrency has gained already its popularity all over the world. All the negative feedback that you receive about cryptocurrency would be possibly came to those people who are close minded that even if you educate them still they believe on what they think is right for them. This is the mindset of other people that spread these negative feedback and feed also to those people with the same mindset. However, we do believe in this system that is why we currently earning from it as proof of evidence in our efforts to put these cryptocurrency in to things that they are now. If you do believe so then even if there are negative feedback about it then you will just laugh for it because you already know what the system that offer to us and benefited from the system.

Doomed is an exaggerated word. It is just going through hard time.

I do not really know where is this going but I am positive it will always be the buy and sell that makes it a problem to gain value for the new coins or even bitcoin itself.
We are still on the early stage of cryptos, many things will happen. It is just day trade and panic that makes the value down.

If you're not an adventurer, I don't recommend you invest in ICO, because ICO is now heavily regulated by various countries.
And investing in bitcoin is a sound investment, and I suggest you hold it for the long term.

Of course not. If you are not a risk taker, don't roam around crypto.
Just deposit some money in a bank and enjoy. Crypto isn't for the weak hearted people. Making money isn't so easy as it seams to be. No matter whatever business or job you do. You have to wait for a certain period of time to get a positive result.

There is no obvious reason for the recent dip. Looks like just one of those swings.

Maybe the world is not ready for cryptos?

Don't be overly negative attitude, and blockchain and cryptography and cryptographic money market has the effect of it, so they are really valuable, but the bubble is too large, now is not suitable for investment, so when the bubble to disappear, so this time can be encrypted monetary investment.

There are many people who do not want crypto to be more developed and can be adopted en masse in people's lives. Many ways they want to subvert crypto, bad news, bans and rules that do not make sense. We must realize that a lot of bad ico or scam that just creates shitcoin, makes many investors stuck and make it lose.

I'm of the opinion that right now people are just thinking about business and earning as much money and few are always struggling to future of crypto, especially blockchain technology.

Maybe the crypto markets will never develop.
It is a possibility!
I don’t want to be gloomy but this industry has a lot of negative media and big investors do not take it seriously.
In addition, Most of the ICO’s are professional cons
Since i enter in this kind of industry and joined in yhe bitcointalk.org first time i see that the value of all coins going to red.and the dropping percentages is high. There are some reasons why Bitcoin and other altcoins are going down due to the news about SEC telling crypto exchanges to register with agencies before resuming their operations.

Of course, regulation is necessary and the whales are once again playing mind games with the newbies and inexperienced traders. It is normal and temporary, but this is how it goes. There are times it may go on a bearish run, and there are bullish runs as well.

No need to worry, everything will be fine because it's just more on regulation only.

I think some cryptos do have a future, the problem is that there are some things that may not make sense if they are decentralized. Such as if Uber or Airbnb were decentralized, would we get the same level of support? If we look at the money making perspective, we can short coins to save them (however risky)

I hate to tell you, but most cryptos are doomed. Just like most companies are doomed. But not all like all people are doomed.

But really you need to ask more specific questions if you want a real answer. Like is the price of bitcoin doomed? I don't really think it's price has anything to do with its usefulness right now or in the future. The prices can change dramatically and bitcoin can become still more useful.

Not sure about what have you said by the way.  Did you remember when bitcoin introduced to the public? The majority of them have felt sceptical about the future of bitcoin itself. If you are not below 2011 adopters.

You will never know hot bitcoin gets up and down. We are still in a better place than 2013 with so manipulation from chinese exchange sites applied zero trading transaction fees.

Because basically, we don't know about the background of every person behind the ico itself. It seems a bit difficult to determine.

Lot of Crypto currencies are become successful that is why there are lot of new ICO are coming in to follow their path. I just don't understand of what you mean that the market will never develop in fact markets are already developed for so many years and that's is why we are here in this investment. You should accept the fact that all kinds investments are not always on top that sometimes it will fall because of competitions. So if you are afraid of losing better you will not join any investments specially Crypto currencies.

Crypto is not doomed. Maybe the market cap is going down because of the fake ICO projects and those scammers. That's why the investors have a doubt to invest and they are affraid to loss money. If all the ICO projects will be sucessful the investors and contributors will be encourage about dealing in crypto and the market cap will increase.

I don't think cryptocurrencies are doomed but for sure there could be better days.  The market has been bleeding long enough and it would be nice to have a bull run soon.  Everyone is happy when the market is bullish.   Smiley

Our future has to determine, as well as the cryptocurrency, but we are often puzzled by the slow development of altcoin even as the price goes down. The thing we have to do is to keep holding some altcoins in the hope of becoming a growing asset in the future.

I can say that it is true that many is against crypto, specially government because come on it's obvious, they cannot tax it, they cannot benefit from it financially. But hold on guys, cryptocurrency has a very bright future for our progressive generation, there's a low possibility that crypto will not develop. Just tighten your hold onto your coins, this is and always will be a bumpy ride.

Yes it has bright future but not all of them because all of us have been realizing that many of altcoins are useless.
They have no certain development which is normally done by team to increase the useful of the altcoin.

that's why a relevant alt should add something new, not just a copy+paste. many new tokens are focused on niche markets, the ones with a good application will survive.

You don't want to be gloomy but you are gloomy. You are doing a gloomy thread and posting a gloomy post. The title of your thread is already as gloomy as your post. You have a gloomy perspective of the crypto market. You have a gloomy perspective of its possibility and future. You have a gloomy way of looking at the entire potential of the industry. You are looking at the ICO market with a gloomy eyes.

You are the gloom.
