I think yes, There is a possibility for gasoline to go down. Though it was, electric cars wont be able to replace cars with gasoline because electric cars has still too much disadvantage too. But Electric cars are eco-friendly since it has no smoke.

Well if all nations around the world would adopt electric vehicles then it would be a major factor for the demise of the oil industry. But for now, cars are only a small portion of the total machines that uses oil so it will have only a minimal effect on the oil industry.

I'm sure that when that day comes producers of cars will have many other markets ready, electric cars are not the only option, there are cars impulsed by hydrogen cells, there are cars impulsed by solar energy so there are going to be lots of technologies competing to replace oil powered cars.

Eventually the oil industry will take a major hit when most of the cars in the world will be electric, however I think it will be in the next 3 to 6 decade before that happens. The reason is that the electric car industry is not yet booming in the majority of countries around the world, also most the the 3rd world countries cannot make the change to electric car that easily because of political reasons, and the last reason would be that most of the power plants in the 3rd world countries also rely on oil to generate power. If most of the countries around the world will find a renewable source of energy in every country around the world then the oil industry will surely go down.

Well thats maybe a problem if all cars are electric already. Most of the consumer of oil or fuel industry is cars. If all the cars will become electric then the oil industry will get bankrupt. Cars are the biggest consumer of fuel or oil. Sales will be greately be affected. The worlds economy is going to be cery different. Although there are other use of oil in this world. But still its a big depression in oil industry. Anyway for sure people will think of other ways to balance everything.

For sure, but i believe that all depends on what the long term goal is for the preservation of not only the industrial industry but our very own existence. This feels like a very natural pull towards a better more economical future with substantial benefits. We know the negative effects oil cause within our land so it only makes sense for the cooperations to now start pulling out of oil and start directing their invest and attention into that more economical pull and watch that source become more efficient for the prolonging of our being...And of course become a way for the big guys to make a buck. lol

Will,in my thoughts that this electric cars coming in this new technology will become treat of the oil industry now,because many of our cars,bus,airplane running through in the process of oil or gasoline ,thats why the price of gasoline now is still increase due to many demands in the world market,but this coming new technolgy of inventing electric cars,maybe our demand in gasoline will minimized and affected,and mostly people will embrace the electric cars,especially to those people can afford but,for those belong in the second level,only we can do is to still embrace in traditional transportation.

I think it’s going to help oil companies because there are a lot of things which are working on oil and if all the cars around the world they start electric for use so first of all oil price will be reduced and secondly it’s also very good for environment because we can get a healthy environment and it will keep us healthy in many countries petrol cars are making pollution in air so I will prefer that all the car around the world must be electric.

In my opinion, they won't even the notice the difference on their sales from thentime that electric cars exist ans the time that its not invented yet. Cars are not the only things that were using gas. So its not bad for the oil industry evein if electric cars exist. Oil companies will always find ways to sell their product and if its bad for them it will be a good thing for nature beause the use of gas will be lessen. Less pollution and clean air.

I think there are negative positives if the car is all powered, because the biggest mainstay of the oil industry is the vehicle and if all the cars use electric power how oil and oil industry will be likely to lose their jobs. if some use electricity and some fuel oil is fair because there is no party in disadvantage. and there is a good use of electric vehicles because it is free from pollution but will bleach the power of a large power.

of course , electric cars obviously they used electricity not oil. if many people used electric cars in their homes for sure there will be many holders of oil that will backout their investment on it . but it is way too far from now. people still used oil.
