Yes, we can see many projects turn into unsuccessful and being a scam. but now they won't succeed also to fraudulent other newbie users. they are more brainy now and prioritize learning than earn higher profit quickly. but this scam projects maybe kill newbie or innocent investors willingness to invest in crypto and at the same time the entire crypto space because they are taking away users desperate to learn more about crypto.

Scammers are keep deceiving others for their own sake. It is also the reason why ICOs have now bad image. Many people saying that if they hear the word ICO, the forst thing that they imagined is the scam word.

When people talk about ICO, the first thing to think about is the fear of scams. But after the existence of IEO, investors should not need to be afraid anymore because token sales funds are held by exchangers

As you can see fraud is increasingly rampant in this industry and I think it is true that fraud projects have killed the entire crypto space, including many investors who are afraid to invest in ico projects again and if you are a wise investor, maybe you know about investing safely other than in ico.

Yes that is true but this kind of news is kind of expired by now.

Those scammers have done it a year ago and they had been successful.
Now, there is not much people who really want to risk a lot to new projects and it is hurting them. But the old ones are still on going. Bitcoin is one example of it.
Not all will be affected by it anymore.

No, in fact, scam ICOs are still keeping on growing, and lots of disappointments are piling up on every investors and bounty hunters who supported those fake ICOs, the one thing we need for this is endurance, and patience, getting used to this scams is essential to find the right one that we are looking for, we may be look like a child finding a needle in the middle of bunch of straws, but once we find it, it is all worth it.

A lot of investors lost their money and this is not only because of scammers. Hype went through and after a while everyone saw the true state of affairs. There were so many interesting companies with potential but as it turned out - promising not to do it. Fraudsters have always been and will be, such is nature.

This is very common, people always ride the hype, having the thought that it will be successful until the end, and as usual, after their ICO, you would never see them listing their coin in an exchange, the next thing you knew, they all managed to put up a tough face to kill their conscience for the sake of money, they are not humans.

I agree with your few points, but I don't think only regulation is the solution to bring back crypto's reputation. All the security token means STO are regulated and licensed, but investors are putting their money on them. What is the reason behind it? Decentralization is the true nature of crypto, maximum crypto people will not endorse regulation. Scam ICO harmed a lot to the crypto industry, but this year IEO helped to bounce back again. Investors are relying on Binance, Gateio, Kucoun's research, as they are investing in these exchange's IEO blindly! I think if we get many potential exchanges who only cares about a legit project's IEO, then the negative scenario can be changed!

For sure, scam projects are having a bad impact on the reputation of crypto, but at the same time investors become much more careful when choosing projects for investments knowing there is a high risk to loose all funds.
Risk is always there but the overwhelming amount of scammers will definitely have a bad effect it could affect the overall perception of people about how dangerous an ICO could be. It's like someone is doing mistake and the entire space take the blame.

If there's a way that allows us to reduce the amount of scammers it should be done because we don't want to repeat the mistake to what happened to most of kickstarter that people are just blatantly accusing that the whole kickstarter space is a bunch of scammers just because of some people.
That wont be the case with the holders of digital coins like bitcoin or ethereum because these two crypto currencies have stayed with us for years now and proved their potential plus worth to everyone. Scams are not only a problem of digital market. Such frauds exist in really world too. We should be smart enough to point them out and stay away from new projects by investing in the old ones.

The investor has become much smarter and will not invest in scam, as it was at the peak of the cryptocurrency hype in 2017. I agree that scammers have greatly influenced investor confidence, but if the project is promising, it will find its investments.

Scams are killing reputation of crypto but anyway we are still here and alive. Only scams is not enough to kill entry industry
But a bad reputation is enough to give a huge impact on the entire industry of cryptocurrency. This problem makes regulators are taking a big step by doing so many restrictions to the exchange sites.
The scam is also killing the trust of the investors too. This may not kill the entire industry but it will be slowly killing the entire industry in the future. It has a very strong correlation.

From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Missing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.

I agree that government regulations can solve scam project problems. To gain investor confidence in new projects is difficult but with regulations, investors will feel protected. I think government regulation will still be needed even though this is a decentralized market

The scam project affects investor confidence and scares new investors who want to invest in the cryptocurrency market. Trust is important in the investment world, including in the cryptocurrency market and this is proven by many ICOs who are unable to achieve sales targets, in contrast to the era before 2018 where many ICOs received funds of up to millions of dollars

Scam projects have disturbed the crypto-space. Mostly new investors quickly come with investment decision because they have very little knowledge about how things work in crypto-market. They follow other advise and lose their investment. I think investors should analyze the market trend deeply. They should verify project team members and project whitepapers.
As far as I know investors always use analysis when investing, even though they hear advice from others, but when investing in a project must have their own thoughts which are based on the analysis they have done, even though they are new investors.

agree with you in the last few years there are too many scam projects that make people afraid to invest in a project, and that has an impact on a good project, but for now no longer thinking about getting a lot of investors, but the project must really convince investors that the project they are running will develop not only to take advantage for a moment, it is a great way to make investors believe

Scam projects are one of the reasons of why people that interested on crypto currency investment are keep on diminishing because some of them are now hesitant and afraid to join the investment. Hopefully the government could strengthen the existing regulations to ensure that scam projects could not easily penetrate the crypto market anymore.
Even without the help of the government in terms of regulating the cryptocurrency market, it is still possible for the scam projects to get prevented in penetrating the cryptocurrency market. The potential investors are responsible in managing their investment and they should not trust the projects that just looks good and they should do a solid background research about the project before they invest so they will be educated enough in investment.
