Yes they are, almost all investors in 2017-2019 already have left the industry and forgets about crypto. They just forgets about crypto and find another form of investments. But there's a good result in this, lets say that all investors are smart nowadays, they always dig deep through the project and do their own research.

Prior to now, I use to be a major fanatic of IEO because i used to think they are better than ICO and was misfortune to it, after much-bombed undertaking and loss of gigantic speculation, I needed to reevaluate my means and pull back from IEO extends by 80%. It's excruciating to see a promising task even been reported and oversaw by an a Sr Member go misleading because 90% of them are scam
True, and luck is indeed very difficult to find, because all projects only guarantee success in writing, but they are not able to provide success to everyone in real terms, be it ICO or IEO, even though IEO had become a good land for investment.

From my point of view, scam projects have taken away the glory of genuine projects.
Due to too many scams around crypto space, investors are not confident on investing in new projects. It's Becoming very difficult day by day to find out the legitimacy of the projects.
This in turn affecting the projects and result of this is not raising the funds as expected and required for further development of projects. This is daviating projects from their roadmap which is resulting in too much delay or even failure.
Kissing interest in investors is somehow obstacle to growth and further research of dApps projects.
I think, rugulations will solve the topic to great extent, but is there any other way to stop the scamming and not just going away from it?
Please apply your thoughts.
Yes, many projects currently do not run based on the roadmap they have written. They only write for completeness. In fact, almost one year later missed their roadmap. Actually, the characteristics of fraud projects are easily known. For example, they often change project rules, change the name of the token or coin often.
That's a part of it, if they failed to do what are their plan in the project they will going to change its name or rebrand to have a new fresh look or start as it all depends. While other only rebrands for best outcome or they think itnis mich better to use that name or logo like NEO. Rebranding isn't a problem, the problem is they are not capable of doing the project.

Now, investors are already wary of similar projects because there is no guarantee that a project can be genuine and that the people behind are true and not fakes and scammers. While everyone here on the thread agree that scam projects are really killing cryptos but there are you that disagrees with it. I think in the future, the crypto market will be more selective, this can be seen in various projects that exist today, the concept what they have created is very innovative and challenging, and I'm sure the project in 2019 will find a strategic market the following year.
I do not see how we are going to have fewer and more selected projects when the whole premise of this market is to allow anyone to see the code of most coins and if they want they can create their own fork by just copying the code and change a few things and say they have created a new coin.

It is inevitable that we are going to have a bunch of bad coins in the market what we need to do is to try to raise the awareness of this problem to new investors so they do not fall victims of those scammers.

Cryptocurrency price fall, this isn't first time like 2018. By all problem cryptocurrency dump, this isn't means that last 2017, there wasn't any scam project. This is all because of correction time. After this year Bitcoin halving and Ethereum 2.0, altcoins could be ok and correction time will over.

Scams are killing some investors, it's a tough world and just the strongest survive. Crypto space is not different, while some people cry because they lost money others are earning, when you think about scammers vs their victims is the same as trader who earned and trader who lost, someone needs to be on the winning end and someone is on the losing end, one can't exist without other. And after all this year's of trading against each other, scamming each other, crypto space is alive and well, there are even more people than before, so what that tell you? Crypto space can't be killed!
The market are keep having bad image because of those scammers who keep tarnishing the whole market. The scam projects are the obstacles of the people and it is one of the factors why there are investors who do not prefer to make investment in cryptocurrency market. The victims are keep rising over the time, we can avoid the greedy scammers if we know what we are doing. We should ignore scam projects and focus on projects that can give us profit.

What bad image? Where? What are you doing here then wearing signature? About what you talking about, show me those scammers? Show me scammed people? People are just yelling scammers everywhere they can, but in a fact in 90% cases people made a mistake, nobody scammed them, they made a mistake on their own, but we all know that blaming others is always the easiest way!
So don't give me crap here about victims rising over time, I don't see any victims her. Are you do victim?

The more you get deep in the space the more you get scared with scam. A large percentage is involved in the scam and manipulation of the market. So much is going on now in the space and is an attempt by the teams to benefit from the next run at all cost, most especially at the expense of investors and traders. More revelations are coming out on the influence of Vitalik to dump Ethereum price which am still struggling to believe. Now investors are very scared to put fund, they are already burnt, except they were properly managed and exited early.

Yes, I still do believe in crypto , there is always hope in everything. Due to the awareness of people now, and also we are now be able to distinguish the fake and real ones. But yes it affects the crypto market, traders are starting to lose their fate on it, but still we are here to tell them that they can still trust the process and everything on it.

We as a whole appear to seek after guideline to at long last be liberated from scammers and con artists in crypto space however I do trust the guideline will be that successful atleast somewhat yet mind you con artists can't be 100% killed, they will consistently discover a way, its better to figure out how to keep away from them instead of sitting tight for guideline that probably won't occur at any point in the near future
Agree, it is mandatory to stay away from the scammers, because they certainly won't give us any profit, scammers are always looking for new ways to get victims, so it would be great if we stay away from scammers.
victims will usually be traumatized by fraud, if they are disappointed with the big they will spread to the people closest to and make crypto trust decreased. therefore we must make a call for fraud projects and also for investors who must be smarter than fraudsters

I think yes because scam ico campaign affecting the confidence of investor to invest in new project because of the fear of this project will eventually scam at the end. Thats why crypto developments now especially altcoin not improve and many people now use altcoins to invest and exit when they get good amount of profit. And holding now is not worth it because of this scam happening until now.

Obviously, scam projects are killing entire crypto industry, thus discouraging investors and bounty hunters. Regulatory measures will certainly help retain the glory of cryptocurrency by eliminating and discouraging scam projects. Similarly, bounty managers can play their role in this regard. They know much about which projects are legit or scam.
Nope, not the entire crypto industry. Scam are always there and maybe won't  disappear even in the following years. We can say there's effect like new investors are hesitant to invest especially in new projects but not enough to kill the crypto industry. ICO collapsed due to lots of scams but look there is IEO and they switched into it. Meaning scams won't be enough to kill the entire crypto industry. New way will be created again and again.

You are right, Also hunters are now not confident to participate on bounty because lot's of scammers its affected the entire bounty campaign industry. Hunters are also important not only the investors. Because they delivered the information about the project and they influence us to read or to check every project. So they need to sure that project or platform are legit. So if its scam, They will spread the word of projects and they will scam us once we participate.

Scam projects are not killing the entire crypto industry they are killing the ico market and quite honestly that is not such a bad thing, the ico market has not really brought a lot of benefits to this market especially during the last years, if the developers want to create a project then they can do it in the same way that Satoshi did.

Satoshi did not require the money or the investment from anyone else, he had a good idea, worked very hard on it for years and then presented that idea to the world, and I do not see why other developers cannot do the same.
