I agree, there are many shitcoins existing nowadays but there are also altcoins that already proven their worth and manage to stay up to now despite of the roller coaster movement of market. Its easy to spot these worthy altcoins researching is the key to find out. So take time doing a research because its important. Currently im not buying alts, I have few alts in my portfolio and just waiting to take profit.

Few things to consider.

Treat ALL Altcoins the same. Only join community to see how active it is, dont hang around. NEVER get attached to a coin, it will cost you dearly.

do not believe anything the coin creators say, most is all smoke and mirrors. There is only around 1% of genuine projects in this space, your GOAL is to buy alts to make more BITCOIN , thats it.

Keep it simply, look at support lines to buy, then know where resistance is to sell, rinse and repeat. Bitcoin is KING, your Goal is to make as much BTC from Alts as possible, nothing else matter.

Buying alts need more research because once you will get a not potential coin you will get 0 profit and you will not earn money and possible to lose it. I like the altcoind that you already have or your suggestion because I have that already because I think that is good coin too and for me that is very potential and I think it will become high this 2020.

Each person has a different opinion about the altcoin because people will always grab the coin which has huge potential when their prices drop in the market. So, we should always aim for the coin which has higher volumes and has active developments. It is good to choose potential coins always.

For the long-term investment, I prefer bitcoin as my personal asset, but in doing daily trading of course altcoin is more profitable even in small amounts, but in this case daily / short trading certainly requires a proper market analysis so that we will be more easy to get profits, and also minimize the occurrence of losses, some time ago I had tried to trade with a new altcoin like Okb (okex) and also the wrx (wazirX) and with the right analysis these two alt coins can provide a rather large profit according to just a day.

Due to the condition of the market maybe this will be a good time to enter or to reinvest again. We are all aware of the sudden big dump on the market and I guess some of us right now have already refilled our bags with different cryptocurrencies. To be honest, the money that I saved, I already used it in buying other cryptocurrency and the profit that I have gained in the signature campaign is now allocated on buying our needs like the foods and other necessities.

If you're going to buy now make sure you will not forget to invest in bitcoin (or try to make this as your primary investment), then try to look in the Coinmarketcap and choose among the top-performing altcoins and if you're going to ask me what coins are good to buy now, I highly recommend to buy Ethereum and Binance Coin.

For me, bitcoin will still profitable cryptocurrency as long your target is long term investment. AFAIK, there's some altcoin that only suited for short term investment that's why you think it can bring you more profit than bitcoin, but if you going to hold bitcoin for a long period of time I'm pretty sure you will end up on earning ton amount of profit.

In some reasons the chance of gaining much bigger with alts is possible if you invest with good quality projects that will bounced big after this downfall.
It's tough to pick the right project as you really need to work with your research, knowing the potentials and trying to figure out the entry position to take
making sure that you'll be benefiting in it's maximum capabilities.

I started buying alts like EOS when its price dip to $8 now I lost more of the money I have when I should have waited for this recession. Its not helping at all I'm glad I won some of the bets I have in sportbetting and dice. I resorted to gambling when I lose more of the money.

If you are going to buy alts, you better be trading it when its spiked a bit because the market is just dragging the prices down every time. Its like you against the world who keeps shorting it.

Depending on the timing and depending on the situation and I guess the right timing is now because when people panic, that's where the value falls down and the price is undervalued, so there is a value on accumulating the altcoins we believe has a potential in the future.

In the past few days, altcoins are down significantly, ETH dropped below $100 and other major altcoins as well.

Yeah after several months of not buying any alts, recently i just accumulate a few amount of a particular alts that i see could grow big in near future if things work out fine, because of the experience of 2018, it is hard to want to invest on alts not to loss money again, i invest on this project because i can run master node and able to earn passive income.
