Where are the gentleman from the good ol' days
What do you mean by richness and what do you mean by good old days, when there was no technology  Tongue do you think the past was prosperous ,which i highly doubt because the life was hard in the past, unless you are mentioning about the recent past ,even then i could not get it.

Hackers and thieves can't access the coins on my hardware wallet, and the IRS can't tax me if I don't sell. Therefore, I hodl and spend BTC directly.
If you are careful about your security then the coins will be secure, sure hardwallet wallet is more secure than saving in your lap which is having access to internet. Since i am not seeing much opportunity for me to purchase the coins right now in my country i would rather convert it to coin if i needed but i am holding my bulk for the future.

Not wealthy and probably will never be if I continue going like this with bitcoin but earning bitcoin has given me a lot more space to breathe with the money earned by selling bitcoin that I use to pay bills mostly.

Where are the gentleman from the good ol' days

I'm still not rich but I'm better than before I knew bitcoin three years ago which help me alot especially hard time
Still looking foward to see bitcoin true potential after another Segwit

That's true because being rich in money only isn't rich, but if you have knowledge about it which others don't have then you are richer in knowledge than them. No one would come and say that I made blah blah from Bitcoins because it is not a sign of noble-minded people as they remain quiet in all the situations and enjoy their life the way they want without proclaiming about their success.

I don't know about the others, but I don't consider myself rich. I have only around BTC0.100 in my wallet, on top of a few ETH and XLM. Even if the exchange rates increase by 10x or 100x, Bitcoin will not make me rich.

I'm pretty sure that those person who hold their bitcoins since it began are now rich. Because if you think back to those recent years, bitcoins price had only cheap price compared to now. I have my salute to those people are patient and hold their bitcoin that time because they are now successful.

People who have invested into bitcoin when the price was around $1200 with large volume of bitcoin in wallet has become rich people already. This is just because of the growth that has happened abrupt in a shorter time frame. Secondly as the price has decreased back below $4000 more investment will come into bitcoin now.

You're the guy who was struggling to withdraw 400 BTC from Poloniex a while ago, right?

So you're still HODLing 400 coins?  In that case, you must be worth somewhere around $1,600,000 right?  I guess it is kind of surprising that some people who are that rich still come around to post on the forum.

Are you planning to keep HODLing them?  Going to spend, or "cash out", or HODL or what?

Man, goodluck getting that coins out.  Grin

And he got the balls to post that so he would know who's the millionaire in this forum, I think he is not holding anymore his 400 coins and exchange it to fiat well just saying, and I think no one will ever reveal here his holdings to anyone even if you have post this it is pitiable that they would give a thing about this because it is for their own safety.

Haha I think those that were truly wealthy would not really be willing to shout out about it in these forums, they would more than likely have other things to be focusing on.

Those gentlemen would be foolish to come here and proclaim how wealthy
they are.  Anyone would.  Who knows who might be lurking on this forum,
waiting for such intel.  IRS, hackers, thieves of all sort.  I hereby declare that
I am living in penury, with no more than a few satoshis to my name.  And
that isn't far from the truth.   Plus I think a lot of the people who got rich from
the early days don't post here anymore.   However,  there certainly are a number
who've gotten rich in the last year alone.

Hackers and thieves can't access the coins on my hardware wallet, and the IRS can't tax me if I don't sell. Therefore, I hodl and spend BTC directly.

This.
And in Germany where I live all profits from BTC speculation are legally tax-free after 1 year Smiley

People dream about becoming rich due to the increase in the price of bitcoin. I think it's a Ghost of hope. We don't know mechanism of growth of prices for bitcoin. Perhaps when bitcoin will be worth $ 1,000,000 1 hot dog will cost $ 10,000.
if you are talking about trumpsa, maybe... thankfully quite a lot of countries on the planet doesnt give a damn about usd .... Wink

I am %100 sure there are rich people among us but I am not one of them. I still live with my family. But I also feel like %50 of us will be richer in 5 years following crypto development.
