I have circumnavigated the planet the last few days and see many earthquakes and volcanoes in places where the almighty God has been slandered and offended. The "experts" will tell you it is due to "global warming" of course to divert attention away from their wickedness which is bringing the righteous wrath of the almighty upon mankind Grin

While infrastructure and technology keeps advancing, our natural resources suffer.
Which is the high price we have to pay to have all these infrastructures to beautify our cities but for resource sustainability we need to find materials which could be renewable to allow the younger generations to have something to use when the time comes.

Sure there are people who tries to save our planet by diving into the water and collecting trash, or encouraging anyone to recycle or stop using plastic. But is it enough? If it is, then why are we still experiencing climate change? Could this be the start of the destruction of our planet?
There are so many wrongs we humans keep doing that hurts our environment, if we want change it has to start with you and me! If you can plant a tree do so, if you can participate in collecting plastics, trash all this will make a difference in the long run.

The world can't be distroyed,  transformation of climate change can be natural. The world itself is transforming, things are around us are not the same as before. All this changes occuring we can't even explain the cause for it. The world can't be distroyed

The people telling you that you are not doing enough to save the planet are the very people who are destroying it with their larger than life carbon footprint while making bank trading the very carbon credits they proposed as a solution. Their offspring will prosper in the new economy while your offspring will become paupers ....or so they think Wink Wink

We are not doing enough to save our planet. The speedy spread of technology has made it impossible to save our planet. How can we control the smoke of factories and vehicles that are polluting our world? How shall we control the wastage materials of factories that are polluting see life? This is a very serious issue. It can not be controlled by the only individual but at the world level, it is essential to put attention to this matter.
All Govt of the countries and UNA should take prompt and solid action for the prevention of pollution to save our planet.

It sure is easier to believe the big bad industrial complex is responsible but they serve those of us who consume.

Though your statement is valid in part as well.

Tech, power, clothing, food, waste---I'll assume anyone with the resources to post here is participating in all that.

Maybe if we lived in small abodes, grew our own food, walked everywhere we went (or a least worked closer to home) ect.

I am completely self sufficient so qualified to comment but yes you do have a point in that those who partake of the goods and services downstream right through to consumption are partially responsible through their willing or unwilling collaboration ...This is the way societies find themselves without choices later on down the line when the same people who created the chaos bring about the solutions by refusing to step outside their boxes and live self sufficient lifestyles in whatever manner they can.

Thats coming for plebs but not for those who profited from the destruction.

"The planet" will be fine without us humans profiteers who have raped the earth but NO us humans profiteers who have raped the earth are not doing enough to preserve our habitat.

Fixed that for you Wink

We are not doing enough to save the planet but we are doing more then enough to destroy it. With the same pace, i think we would be able to make this planet uninhabitable in the next 500 years. All the ecosystems are already disturbed and our signs(garbage) can be traced to even the Mariana trench. Unless someone comes up with a planet saving strategy, i m afraid this is not going to the right direction.

Abundant productivity will produce a higher level of technology, and a higher level of technology can save the planet. Before artificial nuclear fusion became commonplace, it was futile to talk about saving the planet.

Just in: Those who have enriched themselves raping the planet wish to know what efforts you are making to save the planet today .After taking ownership of the atmosphere and the earth beneath it with the profits from ecological destruction and war and assets they purchased from you with the monopoly money they gave you and then debased they now wish to know what sacrifices you are willing to make to ensure they have full authority over your very existence. You didn't destroy the earth my friends. The people who are telling you that you are responsible are the ones who harmed it to culminate in the very pretext which is to be played out and is perfect due to the fact there is no no other choice Wink

No matter what you/we do to reduce the harmful activities of mankind still the climate change is going to happen which is the evolution of this earth. Few million years ago this landscape was not similar to the current one and not actually suitable for humans to live but now we are at the right time so we are living but in the next few million years humans may not exist but still, the planet will remain.

No we are not, we are slowly making earth die because of the pollution, we have to make use of our new technology to make earth a better place for us and to more people in the future.
Honestly we need to develop more advanced technology to forsee what life as to offer us. If we say we don't want more pollutions in our environment or we want to clean the Earth with is very much difficult, how will technology be developed?

Although necessary precautions has to be taken for these wastes that are been generated every year which is very dangerous to our environment. There is nothing the world can do to stop this pollution or safe planet Earth. We can only reduce the effect which is unlikely difficult. Industries must keep on production process to balance demand of customers. Now are we going to stop industries from operating to safe planet Earth with is very difficult.

There is no way we could safe this planet Earth cause their is a lot of activities we are into that are destroying our environment and climate which are inevitable. The continuous emissions of harmful gases and waste has a long term adverse effect on our habitat and every organisms dwelling on it.
You know we can't stop producing bombs, weapons, radioactive wastes, biohazards and many more which are mostly used for day to activities. Every countries is advancing in her technology innovations in order to compete with her neighbors, contributing to the level of hazards found in our environment, killing the Earth gradually.

Why you so negative? You are like the doomsayers during the Roman Empire asking if this is the end of Rome while Nero enjoys seeing his beloved city burn. The planet Earth would still be here after we are long gone. 4 billion more years before it will be disintegrated by an enlarging Sun turning into a red giant. People will try to fix the planet one way or another. Or perhaps, climate change might be Earths way of cleaning the mess created by humans. The sea rises, doesn't matter in a world without humans. The sea level drops, doesn't matter also, we are but small ants in a very big world.

He has raised valid points though, ngl. We are as you said, like ants in a big world, but we can't deny that our brains are not like that of ants or of any other living being in the world (or in the universe). Just think about it, if we are the only intelligent living creature in the whole of the infinite universe, shouldn't we do more than just sitting and letting mother nature finishes us like it did to dinosaurs? We should do more, use this brain gift, and utilize it to the fullest so that we can fight the entropy of human race and reverse its progress and saving the species as whole, like with other planet colozination, or using moon's surface for growing crops? So much we can do!
