Honestly, we really don't know if Satoshi this day is still alive and one thing for sure that they really care about the price of Bitcoin. He is a very smart person and I know that if he puts his Bitcoin in one wallet, it will get a negative impact to Bitcoin's price. So it's wise if he spread his Bitcoin to many wallets. We don't know if Satoshi have sold his Bitcoin at ATH because for me that's not what he aiming for. And if ever he do, he only sold some of Bitcoin because selling all their Bitcoin at one time will make Bitcoin die.

Whales and institutions are the cause of the impulsive movement of prices, maybe one of those whales was Satoshi — we never know.

As the creator of Bitcoin, of course, people will continue to be curious about who Satoshi is! they also want to continue to worship Satoshi and make satoshi like one of the great people of all time, but Satoshi doesn't seem to want that, he/she/them is very aware that the danger he/she/them will receive is far greater than the reward will receive, so we must be able to respect the decision he/she/them made ^{(took not to show his/her identity to the public)}, that was a choice and consideration he/she/them made.

Satoshi has his own right, so if he wanted to come back he can anytime.  The Bitcoin community might throw a welcoming and acknowledgment party for him as the creator of Bitcoin but I do not think that the Bitcoin industry is in need of him now.  As you stated Bitcoin had been running for more than a decade without Satoshi, so this mean Bitcoin thrive even if Satoshi is not around.


I think most of the community will accept the person as Satoshi if he is able to sign a message to the known address owned by the real Satoshi.

I doubt that Satoshi will ever comeback, he knows better than anyone that if he did showed up then he will be under heavy surveillance and at some point his real identity will be revealed, and in that case it would not surprise me if several governments accused him of several crimes and sent him to prison, while at the same time they began a campaign against him in order to discredit the idea behind bitcoin, so coming back only has disadvantages for Satoshi if you think about it.

It is true that bitcoin has existed and developed for many years without Satoshi so it is not wrong to say that we no longer need him. But if he comes back, will we still not welcome and need him? At least he is the creator of bitcoin, if we need ideas to help bitcoin scale or fix some problems, I believe he will still have better ideas than the current developers. I still think he's one level smarter than us because otherwise, why would he have the idea to create bitcoin and not you or anyone else?

It is true that Satoshi held a significant amount of bitcoin but why are we afraid of that? The total supply of bitcoin is 21 million while he holds 1 million bitcoin, so even if he sells it, it won't cause bitcoin to collapse, why are so many people afraid of that? Furthermore, most people want to buy bitcoin cheaply, so why don't we see it as an opportunity but as fear?
I will support him in selling them because it is a worthy reward he received for creating bitcoins and being able to keep it until now. One more thing, if he does that it will help bitcoin become even more decentralized as it doesn't belong to anyone too much. It's actually not as scary as many people think.

yes, many people will be happy, but when we look at a statement from Sergio Demian Lerner about how many bitcoins Satoshi have, we have to worry about it. We have to think if that 1.1 M BTC sold it on the market right now, is the market crash? As we know, Satoshi never spent his Bitcoin since he disappeared. Therefore we need to be alert if it really happens in the future, the ban wave market will come immediately.

Need him for what?  We pay respect to him, are thankful to him, and acknowledge him as the one who created Bitcoin.  But I do not think that the Bitcoin community needs him for Bitcoin development.  There are already capable people who are working for the Bitcoin development.  It would be great if he appeared, but the need for him for Bitcoin survival, I do not think so.  He has been gone for a long time now despite that, Bitcoin is doing great.

But in my opinion, whatever his status is, it will not matter, Satoshi may have had a plan to hide his identity from the beginning because he did not want to be intimidated by the government and let Bitcoin remain decentralized.

Look at some of the current altcoin creators like ETH, making the transition from decentralization to centralization.
Such a thing is not the goal of Bitcoin because Bitcoin is fully decentralized.

Yes, we owe him a huge thank you for creating bitcoin for us, but honestly, I didn't expect him to show up again either. Not only could that harm him, but it would also have a negative impact on bitcoin because bitcoin would be perfect without a founder and would require community consensus. I pray he has the life of his dreams but I don't expect him to go back to bitcoin. Everything is perfect, I don't want to change anything.

Well I have been talking about this alot so lately. And I do think it is now a topic we are all talking about is cause of the recent 'satoshi' spotting on twitter.

But if we are being honest here then no I do not think we satoshi. He has already been a honorable man for what he did for Bitcoin. And this is not something that any one can ever take away from him or his legacy.

Frankly, it's clear that bitcoin could have run smoothly for the past 14 years without Satoshi's help, so it's understandable that most people would never care about or need Satoshi's presence. But as I said, we all need to be grateful to him because without him, there would be no bitcoin for us to use. So if he wants to come back to bitcoin then everyone will always welcome him.

As for who is real and who is fake, it is beyond the scope of this topic so we do not need to discuss it. If the real Satoshi appears, he will always have a way to prove he is real.

Satoshi Nakamoto left Bitcoin many years ago and I am sure he got a big reason for what he had done. I am sure that if one day he will surfaced then it can be a huge news for the crypto industry and can certainly put to rest who is the real guy so as to stop fake claimants to the throne to be sidelined...and I know that there are now a lot of questions and concerns that only the real Satoshi can deal with. But, considering everything that transpired in the crypto industry, I agree that it would be better for all of us that he remained where he is. We can never be sure if he is still alive or what...as nobody can really be certain what his real name is.

Yeah, I was thinking also if Satoshi was married and had a family (wife and children), If he was single like (another creator altcoin), maybe he still exists until today.

Actually, this is just my curiosity if there are still some people who want Satoshi to come back for several reasons.

That's a stretch generalization with the 7 votes you got out of the many members of this forum. Seriously, what's the honest point of this post? Also, on your original post you were already claiming that you don't want Satoshi to reveal themselves because you believe Bitcoin can continuously grow with or without Satoshi and now you're saying that you it could've been idea for them to reveal themselves and be active again so they can give advice? Make up your mind.

I am going to also say that we don't need satoshi at this current point. The revolution he created is already running successfully in the market. That revolution or system was created primarily to protect privacy and economic freedom. I think his purpose is now taking shape and that is his success. So here I think since he made it to be anonymous it's also important for him to be anonymous.  Also, even if Satoshi does reveal himself, I don't think we can get past the controversy of who the real Satoshi is.

It's a yes or no choice, but both choices have their own answers.
The majority of Bitcoin users will certainly be enthusiastic about Satoshi because he is the creator of Bitcoin and does not know who the figure behind the name Satoshi is.

It has to be like that, not without certain reasons why Satoshi doesn't want him to be known.
