I did read your post, and what I saw was, you used the word "HE" 5 times.
My question is, are you sure that he's a male? Why are you using the word "HE" where in fact you don't even know if Satoshi's a male.

Anyway to answer your question coming from a newbie, with how Bitcoin is right now, and how it works, I don't think that we need Satoshi anymore although it will be a good thing if Satoshi comes back, but what are the chances for it to happen? Close to zero. I know that you asked this OP because you're curious, and I have this type of question in my mind for a very long time as well, but I guess let's just assume that Satoshi will never come out, and help the developers anymore. I guess Satoshi is happy right now with what's happening with Bitcoin even though not many people sees it as a currency, but rather an asset.

Next time, don't use he if you are pertaining to Satoshi. Smiley

Because for me, I don't need Satoshi anymore, bitcoin still exists (even bigger) with or without Satoshi.
Exactly this.
I've always said that one of the best things that happened to Bitcoin was that Satoshi went away. You see, people like to make "gods" out of people. They like to look at what certain entity says and follow that. If Satoshi were around, many would have looked to what he says and what side he stays on in any argument about any matter (like the block size war). And that goes against the spirit of a decentralized network.

In other words Bitcoin is more decentralized without Satoshi Nakamoto around.

we don't need Satoshi, let him become a legend for his name, we have to thank to him for making the greatest thing in this century.

This is quite hilarious, because of how different opinions and publications as caused unnecessary confusions among the masses.
Someone claimed to be Satoshi, how does that even concerns us, when we know very well that some of those people at the top are against decentralization, so what makes you think that Satoshi would reveal him/herself.

And lastly, every information we've gathered today was clearly written by someone who thinks but literally had no concrete evidence. Satoshi Nakamoto is a mysterious person... Ooh no... They are group of hackers. Satoshi doesn't use twitter... Ooh no... That twitter account is operated by Craig Wright. He is just somewhere, living among us, maybe using the same popular social medias, but we can't literally tell because he/she/they are mysterious.

There is a lot of controversy about the emergence of satoshi on social media and other websites. I still don't know, what the purpose of someone creating this idiot riot on the internet is. Because for me, I don't need Satoshi anymore, bitcoin still exists (even bigger) with or without Satoshi.

Many people are afraid if Satoshi shows up today, he will change the source code and tear down Bitcoin blockchain. that is the stupidest thinking I ever hear. Because bitcoin is a public, and have community that cannot be changed by just one person.

Many people are afraid if Satoshi shows up today, he will be sold his (million bitcoin, there is no evidence yet) he has.
So, what is he waiting for not having sold it on ATH before?.

we don't need Satoshi, let him become a legend for his name, we have to thank to him for making the greatest thing in this century. I will be the 1st person agree if he gets the Nobel Prize. But, for emergence today, I'm the first person who doesn't believe it.

Of course Bitcoin is public but it is not owned by anyone, but Satoshi .if Satoshi  is the inventor of Bitcoin and he has its source code, then after he returns he can do anything. There is no evidence that he  owns a large amount of Bitcoin but there is also no evidence that he does not own any Bitcoin.

Maybe Satoshi has a true understanding of Bitcoin value, and is thinking much further than selling at $65,000.If we can believe in Bitcoin, which he invented, then we have to believe in Satoshi, because there is still no evidence of who Satoshi was.Was it a person or a group, and where did he go after inventing Bitcoin,There is no evidence of his death, so the fear of his appearance will continue to exist among people.

Are you referring to Satoshi on twitter? That’s not really him it’s Craig Wright. He ended up purchasing that account and as far as I know the real satoshi never used twitter.

A few days back he posted some message which was pretty much written backwards. Very easy to decipher. No idea why. However with activity like this I am fairly sure it’s not the real satoshi.

Bitcoin technology is perfect, Satoshi will not make any changes to the Bitcoin blockchain because this action will be known to the public as his interference in the changes that occur. So far, Bitcoin has grown, developed, been recognized for its existence and has been adopted in parts of the world as a medium of exchange. Satoshi will not make any moves that would reveal his whereabouts, his name has become a legend among crypto lovers. It is hoped that his existence will only eliminate public curiosity about the figure who has changed world transactions with his creation, but he will still keep his identity safe by allowing Bitcoin to continue according to the original plan when it was first created.

I even hope this happens because someone holding too much of the bitcoin supply is not a good thing for the market. If he shows up and sells all those bitcoin holdings, it will be a great opportunity for us to buy them back at a low price. But I believe that even if he were alive and still owned that 1 million bitcoins, he would not sell it at this time. Looking at the development of bitcoin, we can easily see that the value of bitcoin will increase much higher in the future. So he wouldn't be stupid enough to sell it now or at a low price.

If he not give any benefit to me e.g. send some Bitcoins or share any secret thing, why I need to care? it's same like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos etc, they inventing a new thing, but I don't care with them. I as one of their consumer obviosly say thanks for their invention that can give me productivity or something like that, but it's only that and no more.

I think most people are want to pray for Bitcoin or Satoshi like a God lol.

We can only speculate as what will happen to bitcoin if Satoshi suddenly appears or shows himself. A lot of question needs to be answer and obviously, the amount of bitcoin he supposedly have in his wallet is worth billions of dollars already.

However, I don't think he will surface for the money though, I mean he could have seen it from the background, if he is still alive and yet would choose to be anonymous as what his project preaches.

Media interaction where the person is famous and everyone talks about him. It is not the first time that people claim to be Satoshi, and almost every year someone tries to gain fame from this claim. About two years ago, someone was able to access Satoshi’s account in one of the forums, which Satoshi used when he published the code for the first time, and he was able to access that account via The email used by Satoshi.
All these people know that no one believes they are Satoshi, but they get enough attention to continue this lie.

we don't need Satoshi,

We still need him if he really wants to return to the bitcoin community and continue to grow it. He is the one who created bitcoin, we should respect him, and never say we don't need him. Without him, there would be no bitcoin and we wouldn't be here today. But if he decides he doesn't want to come back or show up anymore, we can continue to exist and thrive without his help. Because he created bitcoin for everyone, not for any individual.

I'd want to hear Satoshi's opinions on past Bitcoin development and Bitcoin's current state in general solely due to curiosity, but it will be a net negative for the entire space. Why? People will be too biased to side with whatever Satoshi's opinions are.

Yeah, Bitcoin becomes the most unique blockchain because it’s founder not active anymore while his holdings is never touched since he leave despite the price pump happened on Bitcoin. Litecoin is the best example on why having the founder a round is bullshit because he sold his holdings at most during the bullrun while he still promoting LTC around.

Bitcoin becomes a total decentralized blockchain because no one is leading the development but rather community decides on what to do next by approving proposals. I believe the decision will always be bias with Satoshi proposal if he is active around.

Satoshi's first tweet since 2018?
October 02, 2023, 06:00:58 PM

... also; "etc! and etc?

The point is; you use "!" either "?" and then include satoshi, in the relative topic nothing changes the objective of the proposed context, asking or asserting something that already has previous discussions, they all come to the same conjectures, it is a #TBT type topic repetitive ad nauseam.

I am very surprised by someone who has an activity +1400 (e.g.), them that should represent experience on the subject, but fall into the trend...

Are We Need Satoshi?
